January 27, 200521 yr Hi fella'sSorry to disappoint you guys but the difference between MTOM and MTOW has nothing to do with aircraft makers.It's the Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA) making the JAR (European counterpart of the FAR) that defines all units as metric therefore MTOM.
