January 10, 200521 yr Hi Laurent, I should have phrased it better: I meant if it will be described in the manual...:)
January 10, 200521 yr mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmConditional Waypoints!!!(DROOL)Can't wait to perfect those LAX and LAS procedures .(DROOL)XML based procedures(DROOL)Sounds like it would be easy for someone to create a web based interface where you could create the XML required for a procedure.(Scratching Head)Hmmm.. if the .rte files also use XML, we might be able to output LDS route files from the Vatusa flightplanner(Pinches Self).
January 10, 200521 yr The manual looks top notch. Since failures are simulated in LD767, will abnormal procedures eventually be included in the manual? Thanks.Regards,Carl
January 10, 200521 yr Thanks Steve, But the manual needs more colour....it's playing heck with the black cartridge on my ink-jet...small price to pay though and I didn't click to "Purchase" button twice either :-smile12 Steve ParkKSDF
January 11, 200521 yr Hey guys,Excellent! I read only 22 pages and I'm already amazed! But, I think I found some small errors:Page 14:Connect ground Interphone - Requests that the ground crew connect or disconnect the interphone. The text changes to indicate the status of the ground connection.External Air source connection - Requests that the ground crew connect or disconnect the interphone. The text changes to indicate the status of the external air.As you can see, interphone is repeated.Page 18:After takeoff, the following vertical and horizontal navigation modes are available for selection on the MCP: Flight Level Change (FL CH), Vertical Speed (VERT SPD), VNAV, Altitude Hold (ALT HOLD), Heading Select (HDG SEL), Heading Hold (HDG HOLD), Localizer approach (LOC),Backcourse approach (BCRS), and ILS approach (APP). The use of VNAV is dependant on FMC programming and is discussed in more detail in the FMC section of this manual.Isn't LNAV missing on this list?Page 21/22:...If the system is only capable of landing using the LAND2 mode (ie. One autopilot inoperative), a NO LAND 2---page break---message is displayed on the ASA. If the system is not capable of performing an Autoland, a NO AUTOLND message is displayed on the ASA.Shouldn't the bold be NO LAND 3[b/] ?That's it, keep up the good work!L

January 11, 200521 yr HiJust to know some things. Of course 767 is always a great plane but what we have assisted in the latest times is just a production of more and more aircrafts, but they don
January 11, 200521 yr 1) is the FMC completely functional?Apart From the FMC COMM and ATC Datalink features. Includes complete FMC Weight and Balance info. 2) are the aircraft lights completely independent in terms ofaction?Yes. If I select the Nose Landing Gear Light I only get that light on. Every external light is independent. 3) is there a pushback truck or just some call outs forpushback? There is no pushback truck - The Model is at the MAX size allowable for FS. You need to use the ground call button to get a hold of your ground crew. 4? is there a weather radar in the panel itself (somethingreally needed)? Not at this time 5) are there failures also?Yes - more than in PIC V1.6) complete IRS?Yes - enhanced from V1. 7) all the buttons in the overhead are functional withinfluence in the aircraft performance, like temperatures, iceand so on?Yes - even the HF works. If it gets too hot in the cabin you will need to turn the heating down. 8) networking gauges? These are planned for the future.
