January 22, 200620 yr Hey guys - Has anyone to this moment in time actually created a REALISTIC merge between the LDS 767 & POSKY 757? Any reply would be much appreciated Thanks.
January 22, 200620 yr Commercial Member Nope, won't work. An LDS757 is coming.http://www.ldsflyingclub.com/siggies/ds.gif The SUPPORT FORUM for Level-D Simulations products: http://www.leveldsim.com/forums
January 23, 200620 yr I know there is a decent merge out there. I'm just not sure where to get it from :) ty.
January 23, 200620 yr I have gotten a very decent one with only one difficulty is fuel calculation in the PROG page. I downloaded from AVSIM in January 8th 2006: Name of the file: posky757lds767.zipFor me is working beautifully using both VNAV and of course LNAV with all the flight plansIf you can live with "fuel disagree" as the fuel calculation is still done over the 767 the rest is very well done. The author completely revamped the airfile and came out with a very suitable solutionAt this time I practically use only levelD: For long distancs I use the 767 and for shorter I use the 757. Of course you cannot expect to be a complete solution as it will be certainly the future 757 but I am very happy with it at this stageCheersPedro
January 26, 200620 yr Hi Pedro,I assume that there is no working VC with this merge? I recall that the POSKY B75 (if that's the .mdl being used) does have a VC, but maybe not workable.Thanks- Bruce. ASEL, Instrument. KBJC, Colorado.
January 26, 200620 yr Hello:I am afraid that you will not be able to use the level D VC, you should try with the posky VC. Myself I do not mind that, I haven't tried yet with the posky's VC I suppose it will work but you have to make a copy of the actual panel from LS767 and create a separated panel in 757 so you can edit the panel.cfg and add the posky VC which requires specific model and not disturb your level DAs I told you, the only major drawback is that after a 2 hours flight you will see the difference in "calculated" fuel vs real which of course will increase and increase the difference as the "calculated" fuel consumption is the one of the 767. You will get a "fuel disagree" in the FMC and will come time after time which is a little bothersome but I can live with it. Otherwise it will be adviceable to really think about getting the future 757 from them which will certainly bring terrific featuresEnjoy it in the time being...CheersPedro

January 23, 200818 yr There is a series of Icelandair aircraft by David Gunnarsson (?) in the library that use the LDS 767 panel with the 757. Search for "Icelandair" under FS2004 repaints, etc. The last time I looked they were still there. Dick Parker in Northeast Ohio USA Windows 10 64-bit | Nvidia GTX 1080 | ORBX | P3D 4.4.16.27077

January 24, 200818 yr Interesting... The readme's are dated October 2005 through January 2006 so I guess the AvSim librarians need to be more vigilant about the use of copyrighted material in uploads. The files are still there as of January 24, 2008 at 2:45 pm US Eastern time. Dick Parker in Northeast Ohio USA Windows 10 64-bit | Nvidia GTX 1080 | ORBX | P3D 4.4.16.27077
