January 8, 200719 yr Anyone have this 3-screen hardware expander working with FSX? What did you have to do to get it to work? Please share your settings with us, as I know there are some questions about whether or not it will work with FSX due to the new camera view system used in FSX.Thanks In Advance,http://www.my-buddy-icon.com/Icons/objects/red_3d_plane.gifAlex ChristoffN562ZBaltimore, MD PowerSpec G426 PC running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit OS, Intel Core i7 11700K @ 3.60GHz 30 °C, 4089MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 , ASUS TUF Z590-Plus Gaming motherboard, Samsung 870 EVO 2TB SSD, Samsung 750 EVO 500GB SSD, Acer Predator X34 34" curved monitor (external view), RealSim Gear G-1000 avionics suite, RealSim Gear GNS 450, Slavix Stay Level Custom Metal Panel, Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Redbird Alloy THI, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals.
January 8, 200719 yr Can't say that I've had any problems. Just connect it up and set the require desktop and FSX resolutions in the FSX drop down. Do a search on this forum for more info. Regards Howard H D Isaacs
January 8, 200719 yr it works fine. just install the matrox software and set the rez to 3840x1024 like howard says and then adjust the camera to your liking via the + and - keys. you need a strong system to run it though. matrox provides a program called SGU to automatically set the rez for any compatible game but you can always just set it manually from within the game as well. i wouldnt even be bothered with simming if it werent for the TH2G. It adds a whole sense of realism to it that a single monitor just cant deliver for simming. its expensive but well worth it if you are serious about simming.
January 8, 200719 yr It works a treat, however, the default zoom in VC is not good enough with 3 screens so change the following in the fsx.cfg and you will be able to zoom out to your hearts content.WideViewAspect=False Change it to true Keith Sandford.
January 8, 200719 yr Author Thanks, everyone for your input. Yeah, I already have it installed for FS9, but I heard it wasn't compatible with FSX so I thought I'd ask - great to hear!http://www.my-buddy-icon.com/Icons/objects/red_3d_plane.gifAlex ChristoffN562ZBaltimore, MD PowerSpec G426 PC running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit OS, Intel Core i7 11700K @ 3.60GHz 30 °C, 4089MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 , ASUS TUF Z590-Plus Gaming motherboard, Samsung 870 EVO 2TB SSD, Samsung 750 EVO 500GB SSD, Acer Predator X34 34" curved monitor (external view), RealSim Gear G-1000 avionics suite, RealSim Gear GNS 450, Slavix Stay Level Custom Metal Panel, Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Redbird Alloy THI, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals.

However, how do I extend the zoom out in fs9? I tried adding this line and it had no effect. Thanks, Robert Robert Chartoff
January 9, 200719 yr Not so, for me anyway. For example, the PMDG 747 in VC view when zoomed out to the full extent (I think it's .30) shows just the top of the panel and none of the guages. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks, Robert Robert Chartoff
February 24, 200818 yr anyone have an answer to the PMDG 747 using Th2go cannot see the VC fully zoomed out at .31 zoom! I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
February 25, 200818 yr This maybe a dumb question, I was thinking about the TH2G but can only afford two monitors right now. Will the TH2G work with just two LCD until I can afford to get the 3rd?
March 4, 200818 yr The TH2GO will work fine in dual head mode. I had it running this way until I could get hold of a third monitor. The instructions indicate what to do but basically just connect one monitor to the Centre output (this acts as the main screen while the system is booting up) then the second monitor to either of the Left or Right outputs.Kenhttp://www.kennair.com.auhttp://www.kennair.com.au/Images/avatars/b200pil.jpg Virtual Reality Flyer using X-Plane 11
