January 7, 200719 yr first, i run 2k2pro, but being an orphan now, i thought i'd ask here; is anyone willing to give a reference on dreamfleet's b737? it DOES have a VC right? any woes?. yes i'm thinking of buying. i have NO plans to upgrade my 'puter just to run fs 2004 to say nothing of "X". thanks, happy new year, tt
January 7, 200719 yr No the Dreamfleet 737 does not have a VC - but it does have a fully functioning (within FS limits) FMC. It was originally developed for FS2000 and patched for 2K2. I used it for many years on 2K2 and was very happy with it, though you may be a bit disappointed with the aircraft model. Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
January 7, 200719 yr I was pretty happy with it. FMC is a great one to learn on if you're to to it. Manual is pretty good, too, worth printing out. Dave
January 7, 200719 yr Wasnt the PMDG 737 originally developed for 2k2. That would probably be your best bet. It has the VC and the FMC a very good aircraft I still fly it alot even though it is several years old.The Dreamfleet 737 was also a terrific Airplane. I flew it along with the PIC 737 almost exscusively in FS2000. Good memories. Andrew
January 7, 200719 yr yes the PMDG 737 will work with FS8.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/html/73767.htm-- D. Scobie, feelThere support forum moderator: https://forum.simflight.com/forum/169-feelthere-support-forums/
January 7, 200719 yr Wilco/Feelthere 737 series has a VC and is very well done. I find myself flying it more and more. The only thing I don't like about it is the NAV data for euroland is lacking. Al Stiff
January 7, 200719 yr I really liked the DF 737. I found a mod somewhere (sorry, forget where) that allowed the DF737 to use the default 737 model in FS.So it looked better than the original model! I got lots of enjoyment out of it.
