August 7, 200718 yr Well there are still guys who like to yoke ;). What I mean are fluent moving needles on the instruments like on the airplanes of Realairsimulations and the Sibwings Safir?BTW www.hovercontrol.com seems to be down.Hugo
August 8, 200718 yr Moderator Owen Hewitt's Bell 206B III JetRanger has a nice VC with pretty smooth guages. It's on the front page of Hovercontrol. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
August 8, 200718 yr There is one chopper that puts a smile on my face every time! :)The Nemeth Designs Sikorsky S-76 features super smooth 3D XML gauges in the VC! :9 Here is an old video of mine where you can see the gauges in action (I can fly her better now) :-wedgehttp://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=XvoCHjv23U0..and here's a few pics of my fav livery. :-kewlhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v640/ede...00/fsscr052.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v640/ede...00/fsscr055.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v640/ede...00/fsscr059.jpg regardsEdaka Capt. August 8, 200718 yr Thanks, Ed. Wow, what a painting :( :( One of your own?Looks like Nemeth Systems will have a new customer :)Hugo
August 8, 200718 yr Yes that's one of mine ....still on my HD for some reason :-hmmmHere is another photoreal paint from me:http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=...hor=&CatID=rootNow there was one problem with S-76 when I bought it ...the gauge bitmaps were 32 bit (not good for FPS). I reduced all mine to 8 bit.I think they fixed this so look for this fix in the Nemeth design forum.Another tip ...start the engines from the VC only.I also added radalt callouts and the Reality-XP 530 :9Oh another tip ... never use full torque (if you want to fly smoothly)Apart from that it is my chopper of choice and I love it ..plus I'm sure you know smooth gauges are essential in a chopper. :) regardsEdaka Capt.
