Well, KJFK should be A NICE addition to our fs sceneries. KLAS will be very nice, me and some other simflyers workers are working on the KLAS beta."... AND I'M PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!"[b/]

frame rates are critical! I haven't been able to use one single simflyers addon because they bring my system (P4 2ghz, 512RAM, GeForce Ti4600) to a screaching halt. It would be helpful if they'd let you choose the amount of detail preferred. NYC scenery is complex as it is.David

Me too, I had no probs with the earlier sceneries like KATL, KEWR, EGCC etc but the new ones, KLAX, KIAD and KDFW give me a "Not enough memory" message which involved a shut down and re-boot as soon as I get anywhere near them. Don't know why. I have 512mb, it's always been enough so far!RegardsTim

Hi Tim,I think this is a Windows problem - I remember reading something about this sometime ago. I had no problems running their sceneries on 192MB of RAM (it's now 512MB and very smooth for landing and take-off with only an Athlon 1GHz CPU).Cheers,Gosta.http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg
