Yes, but do you fly without an internet connection ? I use it for weather, add-ons download, forum, etc... can't have a computer today without internet... Ulisses
Hmmm, not sure if you've directed your question to the right person. I recommended vRoute and do have a broadband connection. :(

I know you recommend vRoute Ray, I just got a ride in your comment :) Nice Suncday !Ulisses
I have not had any problems with terminal procedures being only indicative. The waypoints exported were fine.Could you expand on that comment? I just want to understand, not evaluate, your response.
surefor instance the SUMMA7 SID (KSEA) as shown in FS build represent the leg from NEZUG to SUMMA as a direct line but the chart shows that after NEZUG the heading should be 070

But if this really is a big deal, and you just can't make those first 2 turns manually, export the plan from Fsbuild 'without' the SID, load the plan into the FMS, then select the SID from the PMDG FMS afterwards.
Yes I don't export TP in FP made with FS build and no it is not a big deal :( thanks for the explanationscheersJulien

Checked out SFP (thanks for the link Opa!), and it looks like everything I could want for now. Thanks for all the input guys!

I find FSBuild is fantastic - I would love however a way of printing the flight plans from within, but the export to different add on aircraft is amazing. For getting the right waypoints, you normally find that any with the same name are 100os of miles away, unless there are some that are quite close to each other? When I've come across waypoints with the same name, I've always been able to determine the correct one by comparing the waypoints before - you'll normally find the correct waypoint for your route has relatively similar co-prdinates.

Are you talking about the flight plan in navlog format? If so from the plan (route) tab on the left, click on navlog on the bottom. In the upper right where the plan displays click one of the icons to print the file or save it in .pdf format (or other options I don't recall). It (to me) makes more sense than printing the grid.

Super Flight Planner is available at Flightsim.comName: sfp405.zip Size: 27,571,267 Date: 11-23-2008 Downloads: 3,553 sfp405.gif FS2004/FSX Super Flight Planner 4.0.5. This is a very advanced flight planner featuring a state of the art moving map (drawn using either vector layers or a bitmapped texture, zoom-in, zoom-out, zoom-window, pan, rotation and globe projections), DP-STAR and Airways support plus a lot of import/export options (can import and export from a lot of third party tools such as Radar Contact, MS-GPS and supports data formats such as XML and CSV). May create simple flight plans using a wizard or more advanced manual plans with or without autorouting. Awesome GPS display through FSUIPC. Freeware. By Alessandro G. Antonini. (Previons version had 2845 downloads)There are several associated files there also - using their advanced search form and Super Flight Planner as the criteria to see them all.Hope that info is useful.
Hi OPa;Is there any documentation for Super Flight Planner? All I ever see is what additions and fixes were included with each newer version. Someone said that this is the worst documented software produced and I still have never figured out how to use it. Maybe I'm too dumb, but it's horrendous as far as teaching one how to use it, except for maybe loading a flight plan into FS9.I'd appreciate some help as to using this "Super Flight Planner" which for me is not very SUPER.Jim D.

FSBuild also has a very good online planner associated with it (the bottome tab "online flight planners" I think). You just type in your Point of Departure, your Destination, select which altitudes you would like to fly between, select which AIRAC you are using and then get it to find the route.Works excellently. All you do then is cut and past the route it comes up with into the route entry at the top of FSBuild and bob's your fathers brother!!!Took me a while to find this feature, and I couldn't live without it now.Neil

http://cpinf.com/Click on the FAQ - documents link for a quick start tutorial. I do not have SPF but I noticed it.If you are using flight aware to get r/w filed routes you would have to enter each waypoint it looks like. A positive item is it accepts wildcard searches for waypoint names for fetching from its database. Remember that this database is built from your current scenery so a slight name change can be accommodated.I'll have to play with it. Is their any connection to Active Sky ((I'm using 6.5) for time and or fuel planning estimates using winds aloft?

Thanks for the info about a guide for SFP. I went back to the site to download and had to register. Still waiting to see if I've been accepted (several hours now).Jim D.
