July 22, 200916 yr As the titlle says, the new version was released 2 days ago and the MD-11 performance data is included now. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up.Karsten
July 22, 200916 yr Cool thanks for that...I am sure many will be pleased by that...Andrew Andrew Entwistle
July 22, 200916 yr Yep, unfortunately it only has performance info for the GE powered aircraft. Sam Anderson Every cigarette takes 17 minutes off your life, every slice of bacon takes 9 minutes off your life. If you smoke and eat bacon fast enough, you can go back in time.
July 23, 200916 yr I don't think that is a major problem, the data only being for the GE variant. You can just add or subtract a little performance factor if necessary... I cannot remember if the PW variant is less or more powerful than the GE variant...Andrew Andrew Entwistle
July 23, 200916 yr Maybe the PW variant will be added at a later date. How about the weight data for the MD11? I experienced some CG issues recently when trying to use TOPCAT with the DA Fokker or PMDG 737. The MAC and trim values were off by a noticable amount (i.e. the FMC-calculated values were different than the ones from TOPCAT).Yesterday I was doing an Air Berlin flight to PMI and although the aircraft was not that full (ca. 75% pax, 40% cargo, 10 tons fuel), it took forever to get to FL350. Must have been between 20 to 30 minutes. But then, maybe I am just imagining things. "A life is like a garden. July 23, 200916 yr Cheers Rob...So you could leave the data as it is, giving you a safety margin... :(Andrew Andrew Entwistle
July 27, 200916 yr How about the weight data for the MD11? I experienced some CG issues recently when trying to use TOPCAT with the DA Fokker or PMDG 737. The MAC and trim values were off by a noticable amount (i.e. the FMC-calculated values were different than the ones from TOPCAT).Looks like with the newest version (v2.57) they have solved most of the trimming (MAC) issues. Works fine now for me.BrgdsMarc
