August 10, 200916 yr Five of us including Mike have just spent 80 minutes or so flying in formation and having great fun, actually I should say 4 others were flying in formation and I was doing my best to keep somewhere close to them, lol. OK OK! I've been resisting this bird since I don't usually fly the jets, but everytime I read a theread on it everybody raves. :( I guess I'm just gonna have to give in and buy it...oh darn. :( The formation flying looks like a blast.

August 11, 200916 yr adding my words of praise: what a great add-on!! never have flown military a/c before, but this one is really exciting. THANK YOU!!
August 11, 200916 yr I have flown the L-39 during the day, I have flown it at night. But I just did my first flight in late afternoon into evening. I turned on the instrument lights set to red as the sun was still up. I watched carefully, and in the cockpit the transition into the night lighting is **completely** seamless!!! It's hard to describe. When I turned on the instrument lighting there was no change. As the flight progressed and the sun set at first I could barely notice a small area in each instrument gaining a reddish hue, then finally and very gradually the night lighting became evident.I am even more impressed!!!Robert Alley adding my words of praise: what a great add-on!! never have flown military a/c before, but this one is really exciting. THANK YOU!!

August 13, 200916 yr This is a sweet little jet. I am very happy to have something for quick blasts across the countryside when I get tired of carrying screaming cargo around. I also appreciate having something on the simple side modeled that I don't have to study a 200 page manual before I can fly. My credit card has taken a beating since I have been home recuperating from surgery with not a whole lot to do :-)
