Canadair + Embraer regional jets

Featured Replies

After the PMDG JS41 came out I looked at the history of that aircraft in the US and found that it seems to have been replaced by Canadair and Embraer regional jets. I quite like the size and range and altitude of these a/c for simulation, so I did a search and found there are actually no add-ons available. So here's my question. We see everthing from military to gliders, loads of Boeing and Airbus projects, but it appears no one is working on Embraer 135,145 or Canadair 700, 900 jets as professional add-ons. Why is that? (It seems to me they should sell well, especially in the core simming market US.)

HelloFeelthere are working on a new 145 which looks really nicehttp://forum.iemit.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=2400Wilco's Ejets package is quite nicehttp://www.wilcopub.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=prod_ejetsThe earlier 145 is showing its age a bit, but the legacy is still quite nicehttp://www.wilcopub.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=prod_ERJ145PICThis one has been in developement foreverhttp://www.digital-aviation.de/site/?page_id=22

The CRJ 700 that comes with FSX is not all that bad... :(

I recommend you get the Legacy from feelthere. Excellent bird in that range...although def smaller then the rest.

thanks for the hints but sorry guys, don't want to start a flame thread but I don't consider FT/Wilco a reputable publisher. Wouldn't touch their rubbish with ... anything really. Didn't know they had an 145 though. I was more referring to LevelD/PMDG(and maybe Airsimmer)-level, professional add-ons. I figure the lack thereof has to do with availability of resources, technical data for pilots involved in simming. Just a guess though.

Wilco's E-Jets is actually their best product. And trust me, its a pretty good simulation. Its not easy to use, but not overly sophisticated. They have a tutorial out that will help you fly the aircraft. I own Level-D, PMDG, Captain Sim, most of the premier simulation aircraft and I have put an easy 50+ hrs into Wilco's E-170. The VC isn't the best but its sure not the worst. Fullscreencapture91200932830PMbmp.jpg
