Hello,Anyone else get a black screen when trying to run an instant replay using the MD-11 with TrackIR v5 on FSX and Windows 7? In addition, when I try to come out of the instant replay and back to the action, the black screen remains and I have to exit from the flight.I like to look at my landings to see how bad they are! :( ThanksEdd

Yes, me too, and instant replay is one of my favorite feature that I use after every touch down.Which graphics card do you have?It happens to me on Vista64 and without TrackIR. Probably Nvidia problems. And I bought it after reading posts here how Nvidia is far better choice for FS. Exiting the flight does not help in my case. I have to exit FS completely. Any solutions?I have MD for 10 days now and besides that I have no other issues.Daniel S.

My instant replay has never worked properly, I don;t get a black screen, instead it just stutters very violently. Im thinking for my next build I'm going with ATI.

In the library I just found "FS Recorder 1.3 for FSX". Maybe it's worth trying, but I can't make it before weekend. Would be much cheaper than a new graph. Anyone tried it already?Daniel

It's not the video card, my ATI stutters in playback too. Blame it on MSFS.

FS Recorder is a great, yet very simplistic program. Simple as in the programming. That and walk and follow is the main things I use for making sim videos. One thing though that can be a pain at first, is the video is more a play back of your flight in a invisible type of Autopilot for the Autopilot kind of way. When you do a playback, and want to record, you'll still have to reset flaps or drop gear etc (At least for the look, not the flight dynamics)... but it will fly the same route you did and you can change the weather and times etc... Just be sure that you have a little altitude because it tends to stall the plane when you first load it and may need some room to recover. Now just add FRAPS and you'll be all set :)

Mine did this also until I changed my view to external spot view. After changing the view the stutters stopped and everything was silky smooth. I do use an ATI card but it should not matter.Thomas Jones

I use WVista64, MD-11, TrackIR v4 but I have experienced more black screen's or system freeze-up's flying the MD since installing the newer nVidia drivers as compared to other addons. I have found that instant replay does not function very well after a long flight, I either get a black screen or some weird graphic displaying streaks. IMO it is a temp issue with the CPU as certain addons and peripherals cause a heavy load and I am thinking about installing a better cooling device than just relying on the normal exchange of air in the case.
