July 19, 201015 yr Hi Jim, love the work you have done here with all of the repaints and was wondering if you would consider doing one for the PMDG B1900D in Cascade Airways colors (defunct airline)? Links below have pictures of their planes, however they are not of B1900D, they use to fly 1900C (see link below) but hard to find a good picture, hope that is not an issue.http://czworld.smugmug.com/Aircraft/Beechc...250922633_7Cf7PThanks, Chris
July 19, 201015 yr Hi ChrisIt might be a day or two before I can come up with something, but I am willing to give the scheme a try, let me see what I can come up with.Back when I have any news.Jim Hodkinson

July 22, 201015 yr Hi ChrisApologies for the delay in responding, to be honest I have had a few real world issued to resolve, but I have managed to have a go at your request, so if you would like to take her for a spin to see if she is something close to what you are after, then here is the download link for the file..http://www.filefront.com/17136008/B1900D_CA_01.zipthe usual as always applies, any changes, additions or subtractions form the repaint, just let me know and I will try my best to assist.Jim Hodkinson
July 22, 201015 yr Hi EmillioI had seen your request, so do not think I was ignoring it, although a quick heads up, you really should sign your name as per the forum rules, as you may have had your post deleted, which could have resulted in my not seeing it at all, as I say just a heads up for future reference.Anyway on with the show, I did manage to have a go at the AirPanama scheme, she is a bit of a hybrid of the various colour schemes I looked up, so I am not sure if this is what you had in mind, but if you want to take here for a spin to see if she I close to what you expected, than here is the download link for the files..http://www.filefront.com/17136418/J41_AirPanama_01.zipAs I say, she is a hybrid, so if you want he colour scheme amending, just let me know, and if possible point me in the direction of a photograph of the colour scheme, than I will try my best to assist.Jim Hodkinson(apologies for the quality of the screen shot, I have just updated my video drivers, but I did not double check my Enhancer settings, so the AA has gone adrift)
July 22, 201015 yr Hi Jim, I don't quite get the issue about signing with full name, my name is Emilio Grimaldo just as I signed my post. My account is Emilio_G because when I signed in it did not allow me to put spaces so I used Emilio_G. I didn't think that would be a no-no either because as I see in this forum most people have cryptic names such as LHxxxxx or hodge001, etc. What do I have to change? anyway, as I mentioned I signed my message with my full name.As for your interesting reply, I don't understand what is a "hybrid" repaint, could you perhaps elaborate a bit on it? I tried to get the AirPanama zip file you posted on filefront but I constantly get an "Oops, an error (-1) ocurred", did you remove the file? However, I did get the chance to look at the JPG you posted as attachment and it looks wonderful to me, I really don't see that it misses anything at all.Is this repaint available somewhere? Thanks a Million,>>>>> Emilio Grimaldo <<<< Hi EmillioI had seen your request, so do not think I was ignoring it, although a quick heads up, you really should sign your name as per the forum rules, as you may have had your post deleted, which could have resulted in my not seeing it at all, as I say just a heads up for future reference.Anyway on with the show, I did manage to have a go at the AirPanama scheme, she is a bit of a hybrid of the various colour schemes I looked up, so I am not sure if this is what you had in mind, but if you want to take here for a spin to see if she I close to what you expected, than here is the download link for the files..http://www.filefront.com/17136418/J41_AirPanama_01.zipAs I say, she is a hybrid, so if you want he colour scheme amending, just let me know, and if possible point me in the direction of a photograph of the colour scheme, than I will try my best to assist.Jim Hodkinson(apologies for the quality of the screen shot, I have just updated my video drivers, but I did not double check my Enhancer settings, so the AA has gone adrift) E.G.Freelance IT Consultant www.PanamaVibes.com | www.lordofwingsPTY.com | www.coralys.com @aviationweb
July 22, 201015 yr Hi EmillioThe heads up regarding the signing of any posts was just that a heads up, it is a forum rule, and I have not got any problem with it, the rights or wrongs of the rule have previously been discussed at some length, and as far as I am concerned this is a PMDG forum and it is their house and their rule, it would just be a shame if a request, be it a repaint request or a technical request be deleted (which is a rare but possible consequence) before anybody had a chance to see it and make a reply, as I say it was just a heads up, that
July 23, 201015 yr Jim, She looks great and flies well too. Thank you! I really appreciate you taking the time to do this, you do an excellent job. I use to watch this airline fly in and out of Boise, Idaho when I was younger, and like many airlines I grew up watching, they are gone! So its really nice seeing them come back to life, albeit just on the computer. I sincerely hope all is well for you in the real world. When things get a little overwhelming for me its nice to get away and fly, and you have made that more enjoyable. Thanks again,Chris Hi ChrisApologies for the delay in responding, to be honest I have had a few real world issued to resolve, but I have managed to have a go at your request, so if you would like to take her for a spin to see if she is something close to what you are after, then here is the download link for the file..http://www.filefront.com/17136008/B1900D_CA_01.zipthe usual as always applies, any changes, additions or subtractions form the repaint, just let me know and I will try my best to assist.Jim Hodkinson
July 23, 201015 yr Hi ChrisHappy to help, and thank you for not only the feedback, but the more than kind words, and your concern, they are all really appreciated, and as I say any problems at all just let me know and I will try my best to assist, thanks again.Take care, and have fun.Jim Hodkinson
July 24, 201015 yr Hi Jim!I dare not ask almost, but I have long looking for a special repaint of Eastern Airways.Would you do it? Of course, only if you had time and opportunity to do so?Here is a picture of the plane:Thanks in advance!Mandy Broschk
July 24, 201015 yr Looks perfect, it is a wonderful plane and a wonderful repaint. I now understand the hybrid stuff but as far as I know they have only had this color scheme. Many years ago (last century) there was the original Air Panama with a fleet of 727 but that airline no longer exists. The new Air Panama got the name but their only international flight is to Costa Rica.As for the painting the only off-thing I see is that if I remember correctly they had the Air Panama label near the door but above the windows rather than underneath. Are your repaints made available on PMDG's site?CheersEmilio Grimaldo Hi EmillioI had seen your request, so do not think I was ignoring it, although a quick heads up, you really should sign your name as per the forum rules, as you may have had your post deleted, which could have resulted in my not seeing it at all, as I say just a heads up for future reference.Anyway on with the show, I did manage to have a go at the AirPanama scheme, she is a bit of a hybrid of the various colour schemes I looked up, so I am not sure if this is what you had in mind, but if you want to take here for a spin to see if she I close to what you expected, than here is the download link for the files..http://www.filefront.com/17136418/J41_AirPanama_01.zipAs I say, she is a hybrid, so if you want he colour scheme amending, just let me know, and if possible point me in the direction of a photograph of the colour scheme, than I will try my best to assist.Jim Hodkinson(apologies for the quality of the screen shot, I have just updated my video drivers, but I did not double check my Enhancer settings, so the AA has gone adrift) E.G.Freelance IT Consultant www.PanamaVibes.com | www.lordofwingsPTY.com | www.coralys.com @aviationweb
July 24, 201015 yr Hi MandyIt ia not a problem, the only thing that I will have to have a good look at is the font that is used for the script on the upper fuselage, but I am sure I can come up with if not the absolutely correct font, then some very close, but let have a good look fist for the correct one.Back when I have something.Jim Hodkinson@ EmillioThank you for the feedback, and the kind comments, as always both are really appreciated, as for the AirPanama logo being under the fuselage stripes, you are correct, on most of the photographs I have seen the logo is located in that position, but on the J41 I would have had to reduce the height to make it fit, and it just did not look right, as for putting it above the passenger windows, it would not be a problem doing that if that is what you would prefer, just let me know, it is your repaint after all, so you should have it the way you would prefer.Jim Hodkinson
July 24, 201015 yr Hi MandyI had not forgotten about the repaint, and I have managed to do a what might be called first draft, I say that as although I have got a font for the upper fuselage script that is close, I still would like to get hold of the correct font (if it is available at all) or maybe one a little bit closer to the present on, but anyway I though I would upload the state of play at the moment, then at least you could take her for a spin and see if there is anything that you may want changing, while I continue to hunt down the font for the fuselage script, so with that in mind here is the download link for the present files..http://www.filefront.com/17143363/J41_Eastern_SE_01.zipAs ever. Let me know of any addition, subtractions or any changes you want doing, and I will try my best to assist.Take care, and have fun.Jim Hodkinson
