August 19, 201015 yr Hi DaleI managed to have ago at the EMQ request; this one was not a straight forward as the Victoria POLICE version, mainly with trying to get a good place to finish the main blue area as I had to get the two red stripes to be above the wing surface (they looked a little odd below it, and could probably do with being a little thinner), so the start of the ventral fin seemed to be a good enough place as it provided a natural break, so if you want to take here for a spin to see what areas you may want altering, then here Is the download link for the files..http://www.filefront.../J41_EMQ_01.zipLet me know of any changes, additions or subtractions and I will try my best to assist.Take care, and have fun.Jim Hodkinson@ PeteLet me have a look through my backups, and see what exactly I do have, I will then post the links for the files.Absolutely perfect Jim, thanks again for your time mate, very much appreciated! Dale. Cheers, Dale.
August 21, 201015 yr Hi DaleApologies for the late reply I was hit by a twenty-four hour bug which left me a bit out of sorts, but it’s good to here that she is what you were after, thanks for the suggestions they were fun to do.@PeteThe only other none commercial repaint I have, other then the one you already have and the all white version a page or two back in this forum post, is actually a Passaredo repaint that I just liked the look of and so I removed all the references to the company from it and use it a my own colour scheme (see screen shot below), so if you want to try this one then here is the download link..http://www.filefront.com/17220495/J41_N4100_02.zipI did say that I had only done a couple of private registered J41’s, but I did actually think I had done another one, but obviously I was wrong, if you find a colour scheme that you would like you could always ask for it though, but a quick heads up, not signing your full name as per the forum rules could result in your posts being removed, it is a rare occurrence but it could happen, as I say it’s a forum rule, and I am just giving you a heads up on it, no more no less.Jim Hodkinson
August 22, 201015 yr Hi Jim,It seems I will be flying a lot more in North America this year.I would really love to have this livery from Horizon Air:Horizon Air Dash-8Horizon Air CRJ700
August 22, 201015 yr Hi Jim,even that livery is wonderful ! Thanks a lot.I'm sorry about the "full name-misunderstanding", I will provide since now, thanks for have noticed me about that.Hallo,Peter Colombatti
August 23, 201015 yr Hi allApologies for the delay in responding, I have had a bit of a twenty four hour bug can’t tell the time. But back to business.@ MichaelI know it could be famous ladt words, but the Horizon Air colour scheme should not be a problem, let me see what I can come up with for you, oh and while I am here, is there any preference for the registration on her, or will an existing Horizon Air registration do, it’s your aircraft so it’s your choice. No need to rush with a reply, as changing a registration is pretty straight forward to do.@ PeterThanks for taking the time out to provide the feedback, it really is appriciated, and as before if you need anything changing, adding or removing, then just let me know. And the name thing is more in case you made a technicle request that would probably be overlooked without your full name, but I does make for a more civilised atmosphere when communicating through forum messages when you know who you are communicating with.Take care, and Michael back as soon as I have something for you.Jim Hodkinson
August 23, 201015 yr Hello Jim,you're absolutely right, I'll make this a golden rule. Thanks again for your time, you've been very kind ! I hope I won't have to disturb you againHallo, Pete P.S. I've tried even the other livery, and, what can I say more, it's just amazing. Thanks.

August 23, 201015 yr Hi again MichaelI managed to sneak off and do a bit of repainting, so if this is close to what you were after, then here is the download link for you to take her for a spin to see if she is what you wanted..http://www.filefront.com/17227730/J41_HORIZON_01.zipBy the way I don’t know if you may want the HORIZON part of the fuselage logo moving slightly forward, although most photographs I have seen do have it to the rear of the main passenger door, if you do, or indeed if you want anything else changing, moving or adding, then just let me know, and I will try my best to assist.@ PeterThank you for your very kind comments, I really do appreciate them, and you are not disturbing me in the least, do not think that you are, and if you ever need anything just let me know and I will try my best to help if I can.Take care, and have fun.Jim HodkinsonP.S.Michael, don’t take any notice of the registration in the screen shot, it has now been changed to the Dash 8 registration, thanks for the update.

Would it be possible to move the Horizon logo a bit backwards, so it does not cover the door like in the Dash 8 picture?
August 23, 201015 yr Hi MichaelNot a problem, give me a few and I will be back with an updated download link for you.Jim Hodkinson
August 23, 201015 yr Hi again MichaelI have moved the HORIZON logo further to the rear of the main passenger door as you requested, and here is the new download link for the updated files..http://www.filefront.com/17227906/J41_HORIZON_01A.zipFor the present, as someone other than yourself has downloaded the original repaint, I will leave the previous files on the server, just in case.If you have any other requests for any updates, do not hesitate to let me know, and I will try my best to assist.Take care, and have fun.Jim Hodkinson

You have done it again. Thanks a lot :(
August 23, 201015 yr Very strange coincidence, but last night I decided to do my instrument rating checkride and never noticed it until Michael's post with the Dash-8 Horizon pic above, but just as I started descending to KSEA on the VOR approach part of the Checkride I took this screenshot.I just thought I'd share, and no, I did not photoshop this in any way except to make it smaller for this post.Of course like many of us, I had to do the checkride several times before I passed, since it's bugged but every time the same Dash 8/Horizon was there. After the lady instructor declared the go missed phase, I would also always see this paint to my left.I use UT2 incase anyone wants to know, and again I did not phothop these in.*Peter - Awesome avatar pic! August 23, 201015 yr Turbine777,Alaska Airlines has some great liveriesThey also have a range of Disney liveries :(
August 23, 201015 yr Hi MichaelGlad she was what you wanted, and I know what you mean about the screen shot, and it looked the same to me and I had seen the repaint in FSX before seeing the screen shot, I have no idea as to why the screen shot looked so different to the appearance in the sim but it certainly does, and I promise that I did not retouch this or indeed any of my screen shots, I suppose we will have to put it down to yet another FSX “feature”, but anyway we got there in the end, and that is what counts.Thank you for the feedback and the complement, both are really appriciated, have fun flying her.@ DanI have had one or two near mid-air contacts myself, but up to date have never yet been stalked by a Dash 8, is it something you said that may have upset them. Thanks for the complement by the way, it means a lot comeing from someone like yourself. Both of you take care and have fun.Jim Hodkinson
