August 28, 201015 yr Hi Jim!Sorry for bothering, just tested the BASe livery, and I'd like to ask you to please, replace the flag, because it is not the Hungarian flag:-) The flag you added is kinda red-yellow-blue with some marking in the middle - but the Hungarian flag should be Red-Whte-Green, without anything in it, just a simple Red-White-Green from top to bottom. Please if you can replace the flag and upload the new file so I can download it. The rest of the paint is marvellous, just did my first flight, around the Lake of Balaton in Western Hungary. It was also my first ever flight in the Jetstream as I just puchased it, after you did the repaint for me! This first flight was fully handflown - I think it will take while for me to learn all the systems and to be able to startup myself, and to use the FMC:-) So I will handfly a lot:-PThanks a million,Zsolt Zsolt Monostori LHBP Intel i7 930 @ 2.8 GHz - Asus P6T-SE Motherboard - Ultron Blue Air Gamer Case ATX - Antec 750Watt Green Power PSU - 3x2GB 1600 DDR3 RAM - 500GB SATA 7200rpm HDD - LG Sata 20X DVD-0Write - PointofView GTX470 1280MB 2xDVI/mini-HDMI DDR5 - WIFI PCI Card 802.11 - Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
August 28, 201015 yr Hi ZsoltNot a problem, that’s the problem with us foreigners, we don’t even know our flags, actually I though it was the flag of Budapest, but that will show me for trusting Google. As I say it’s absolutely not a problem, after all that is why I always mention that if anything needs changing to let me know, after all it is your aircraft, you should have it the way you want it.As for the J41 systems, I am sure you will get the hand of her, if I can then anybody can, although I did cook a few engines before I got a little bit more used to her, so stick with it, as your finding out, she really is worth it.Take care, and back as soon as I can with the updated files.Jim Hodkinson
August 28, 201015 yr That "kinda red-yellow-blue with some marking in the middle" is definitely Budapest flag BTW, nice work with all that repaints, thats incredible that You do it all profit free! Big respect!
August 28, 201015 yr SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! What a shame on MEEEEE! That's a Budapest flag indeed, you're guys absolutely right, and it's sad that I don't know my hometown's flag....Anyways, it would be great to have a standard Hungarian flag version, if not a big problem:-)Once again, I'm really sorry. and please, edit your last post because YOU MADE NO MISTAKE, - it's my mistake not recognizing the Budapest city flag! Sincerely,Zsolt PS: Also, if it's somehow possible, can you make an older repaint available? You made an Eastern repaint a while ago, but not the "usual" blueish one, but an alternative colour, with a red and a blue line on the fuselage., but the downloaf link doesn't seem to work (for me at least...)Thanks indeed!!! August 28, 201015 yr Hi againI have managed to get the update done for you, and this time I did not trust Google, anyway if you would care to take her for another spin, then here is the download link for the updated files…http://www.filefront.com/17242875/J41_BAS_02.zipMy apologies for the flag error.Take care, and have fun.@ GrzegorzMy late Mothers family came from just outside there, and I have no idea what it looks like either, and only a vauge idea what the National flag is.Jim HodkinsonQUICK EDITI have only just seen the post regarding the Eastern colour scheme (with my typing I pre-type before posting), was it the ELOT version, if so it could well be another victim of the FileFront website revamp, they did say that some files had gone missing, but why are they all mine, anyway it should not be a problem I usually never throw anything away, so I should have the original master files around somewhere, so, let me have a look and see what I can come up with, that is if this is the colour scheme you wanted, if not just let me know.It may be tomorrow though, as I have a couple of things to get out of the way first.QUICK QUICK EDIT 2Grzegorz, thank you for the very kind comments, I really do appreciate them
August 28, 201015 yr Hi Jim!Awesome, you're fast as lighning:-) Once again, you have made no flag error, you put an accurate Budapest flag on the tail - it was me not recognizing it. Whatever, now we have two versions, which is cool!As for the Eastern Airways, I think about this kind of repaint, which I could not download:http://www.freefoto.com/preview/2050-22-2?ffid=2050-22-2I hope that you have it on your HDD.Kind regards, and once again, thank you very much! Now it's time for me to make a cold and dark situation file (I've just downloaded some LUA script, let's hope it will do the work for me) so I can practice the startup:-)Sincerely,Zsolt Zsolt Monostori LHBP Intel i7 930 @ 2.8 GHz - Asus P6T-SE Motherboard - Ultron Blue Air Gamer Case ATX - Antec 750Watt Green Power PSU - 3x2GB 1600 DDR3 RAM - 500GB SATA 7200rpm HDD - LG Sata 20X DVD-0Write - PointofView GTX470 1280MB 2xDVI/mini-HDMI DDR5 - WIFI PCI Card 802.11 - Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
August 29, 201015 yr Hi ZsoltI managed to find my backup copy of the Eastern Jetstream repaint, and have uploded the new files, so if you still want to take her fo a spin, then here is the new download link for the files..http://www.filefront.com/17244604/Eastern_02.zipTake care, and have fun.Jim Hodkinson
August 29, 201015 yr Thank you very much Jim! Sadly I could not yet complete a flight without an out of memory error but I hope that I can soon fly using these amazing liveries!Sincerely,Zsolt Zsolt Monostori LHBP Intel i7 930 @ 2.8 GHz - Asus P6T-SE Motherboard - Ultron Blue Air Gamer Case ATX - Antec 750Watt Green Power PSU - 3x2GB 1600 DDR3 RAM - 500GB SATA 7200rpm HDD - LG Sata 20X DVD-0Write - PointofView GTX470 1280MB 2xDVI/mini-HDMI DDR5 - WIFI PCI Card 802.11 - Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
August 29, 201015 yr Hi ZsoltIt really is not a problem, I am happy to help, as for the OOM issue, you have my sympathies, I think that somewhere in this forum there was a post regarding OOM issues, but don’t ask me where I have no idea., but it has got to be worth a quick search.Take care, and I hope your out of memory issue gets resolved soon.Jim H
August 29, 201015 yr Thanks Jim, I think it's solved - since I did set back the LOD Radius entry to default in fsx.cfg, everything works fine! Enjoying your great repaints at maximum:-)) Zsolt Monostori LHBP Intel i7 930 @ 2.8 GHz - Asus P6T-SE Motherboard - Ultron Blue Air Gamer Case ATX - Antec 750Watt Green Power PSU - 3x2GB 1600 DDR3 RAM - 500GB SATA 7200rpm HDD - LG Sata 20X DVD-0Write - PointofView GTX470 1280MB 2xDVI/mini-HDMI DDR5 - WIFI PCI Card 802.11 - Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
August 30, 201015 yr Hi ZsoltGood news on the OOM front, I am glad that you got the issue nailed, it’s no fun when something like that happens, I have had similar issues on my previous system and know how frustrating it can be, the worst is when it happens on your approach after you have done a successful London New York flight, only to have a system crash just when you have captured the localiser, and as I always fly in real time, I was a little bit more than miffed, as anybody within earshot would agree.Anyway it’s good to hear that you can now fully enjoy the J41, and if you ever need anything in the way of a repaint, then just let me know and I will give it a shot for you.Take care, and have fun.Jim Hodkinson
