FSD Cirrus 50 Jet - first impressions

You are making an untrue statement here, which you obviously had not researched. We always offer a full refund if you are not satisfied. As far as the cabin pressurization goes, our web page, which you seem to subject to an awful lot of minute scrutiny, does in fact specify that the Vision incorporates a pressurized cabin. Everything on the Cirrus SJ50 is automated, including the cabin environment and cabin pressurization. A pressurization indicator and warning system is incorporated in the MFD.
I suggest you check your own website. NOWHERE does it state that refunds are available, and specifically NOWHERE in the pre-purchase information does it mention that refunds are available, nor under what criteria... I looked very carefully, as I always do.The EULA - which forms the legally binding contract between vendor and customer - also makes no mention of this purported `fact`. Therefore it does not exist, despite your assurances. FWIW I also checked both the Cirrus and the Lightning pages and the same EULA is used. But glad to hear customers can always get a refund. Perhaps you could inform us how many refunds have been issued in the last three months? And under what circumstances? And more specifically how many have been refused? And why?I stated no untruth. I relied upon the information your company provides and as vendor it is beholden upon you to better describe the purchase conditions if `mistakes` have been made. You do not mention refunds in the FAQ or ANYWHERE in your support forum. The returns on a searcg term `refund` reveal not a single example where the policy of refunding is explained, nor any where it has been applied in anything resembling a `policy` - and certainly far short of `always`. Hence my scepticism.Really though, please don't waste any more of your precious time. None of my questions have been answered, a question has been answered that had already been dealt with, Walt seems to be receiving the same level of `service`, there is no commitment to fixing the rather obvious faults, the purchase agreement is not factually correct and the sum total of the appearance of the development team in this forum has been to obfuscate and confuse, rather than explain and clarify. I think the advice I received to give this one a wide berth is looking like a good tip. Good luck to you in your business efforts. I am sure it won't matter that little old me isn't buying. Any of it.

snave,It would seem you have already made the decision to avoid this product, now I am going to ask you to avoid this thread. While I perfectly understand the desire to ask questions before making a purchase, your line of questioning and attitude towards the developer has crossed the line of civility despite subtle suggestions to tone it down and a moderator's advisement. It is reasonable to suggest that you appear to be pushing an agenda at this point, and this is not the proper venue for that.

No agenda from me. Just good old Q and A. Absenting the A derives a decision, which has been taken. I don't think I need you to tell me whether to avoid a product, I am quite capable of approaching it with an open mind, then making a decision. I've been doing it without your guidance for years, thanks. Oh actually, you're quite right that I have an agenda. I don't buy c.rap, and I don't allow myself to get fooled by developers. One of the FSD team actually PM'd me from my initial input and asked me if I'd like to beta a future product. I replied that I wouldn't mind, but that the developers might. The subsequent silence spoke volumes. And this predates the current exchange. My precision for choosing a product is greater than that of the developer producing it. I can live with that, and move on. The product doesn't meet my requirements. I accept that. I clearly stated as such. I don't need you to tell me what my decisions are, when I have already told YOU. I thought I made myself perfectly clear. I wouldn't even have needed to post again but for you wanting the last word. The arrogance forced me to reply. You were on the beta team I suppose?

..and we don't need to hear you repeat your rational over and over-especially after we have told you to stop.We will not be telling you what your decisions are-but we will be telling you our decision about you remaining on this board.

Here's what I'm telling YOU now. I asked you to drop it, but you clearly can not adhere to simple request aimed to provide a welcoming environment for ALL members here. You have shown here, as well as other threads, that you can not maintain civility, and choose to push an agenda not suited for this environment. So now YOU are suspended from the AVSIM forums for 2 days. If you choose to return after 2 days, a further infraction will result in YOU being permanently banned. Do YOU understand?

I understand completely. I am sure others will also. See you in two days.

Thank you Mods! Those posts were really getting irritating. Jim
