February 12, 201016 yr Hey Robert, thanks for the info and for taking on the paint job.If the aircraft has a shiney finish thats all right for me. Beggers can't be choosers I say! Thanks again.Fellas, this is wonderful. Im sure the finished work will be fantastic and will be shared by a great many military pilots everywhere. I must say I am very proud of the cooperation of the PMDG staff. Makes me feel that much more proud that I own all their fs9 products. I also hope PMDG might give a thought to a reproduction of the mighty C-17 using PMDG's awesome panel and avionics. It couldnt miss. Either way, I'd like to thank Robert in advance for his time and great work. Just tell me where to mail the twelve pak. Cheers Edd.

February 20, 201016 yr Great job Robert, it looks fantastic! I actually like the "light luster" as you mentioned, it looks pretty realistic to me :)Thanks Dan, that means a lot to me. Had a good read of your paint tutorial a few weeks ago and went back to it a few times for tips. I was unable to do the refuelling guide and reg number above the cockpit which was a shame but the rest looks good. Going to upload it today after I complete the FSX files.Best regards, \Robert Hamlich/

Going to upload it today after I complete the FSX files.Best regards,I'm not sure what the real deal looks like above the cockpit, but am familiar with the needed file that controls it if that's the problem. Of course it only allows for a small amount of lettering. I'm starting a nice lazy weekend so feel free to email me if you need any help with the Decals.psd. However, personally I think it looks fine the way it is, and sometimes adding to the cockpit area can look cluttered. Whatever you decide of course :) i9 10920x @ 4.8 ~ MSI Creator x299 ~ 256 Gb 3600 G.Skill Trident Z Royal ~ EVGA RTX 3090ti ~ Sim drive = M.2 2-TB ~ OS drive = M.2 is 512-gb ~ 5 other Samsung Pro/Evo mix SSD's ~ EVGA 1600w ~ Win 10 Pro Dan Prunier

February 21, 201016 yr Anybody getting a crash to desktop when using this repaint at night? Not sure if it is just me.ThanksAndrew DeLaneyHi Andrew - It was finished as outlined per PMDG's specs in their ReadMe. It was tested on my comp in FSX and I had no crashes. You only need the textures from the download and you should add the Winglet_T.DDS (my winglet textures came up shiny no matter what I did). Remember to use only 1 set of engine textures, any duplications of .DDS vs .BMP (my textures) will cause FSX to fallback on whatever .DDS textures there are.I hope to upload the FSX textures tonight and hopefully that will resolve the problem if you haven't already found the cause.Best regards, \Robert Hamlich/
