I can only happily say that Aerosoft will be releasing obviously not this year their own Flight Simulator. I've checked out some screenshots of their partially developed MD-8X series, one word: STUNNING. :( James W.

Seriously guys, I would not hold my breath for any of these new sims that people keep announcing - the scale of such a project is absolutely huge and I will be very surprised if any of them get past the preliminary stages.

I have X-Plane 9, and it's amazing that basically one guy -aka, Austin- could do all that. Very impressive.There are a lot of things I like about X-Plane that I really like that I wish FSX had...But it's still years and years behind FSX in general.Unless Austin hires a whole slew of programmers and artists, he'll never be able to replace FSX.
