March 3, 201016 yr I reinstalled FS9, now I have this mess when I am panning around. I did not touch the driver settings and it never did this before. Thanks for any insight.
March 4, 201016 yr It would be helpful to know what Operating System you are using. You say you re-installed FS9 - that suggests you un-installed a previous setup of FS9. If so, did you follow the recommendations in this guide: ?http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...amp;DLID=123907You may not have manually removed the files and folders which are left behind by the default uninstall routine. They must be removed of you are to get a good, clean re-installation.

March 4, 201016 yr HelloAs you have reinstalled FS9 it looks like your TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=190 has reset to the default 40From your screenshot its not possible to tell weather those horrible brown textures are permanent or weather they do draw in eventually. As you can see my TDM is currently set at 190.The maximumi believe is 400.I do know that with the default setting (40),on my machine you will definitely get scenery drawing issues (like your screenshot)whilst panning in spot mode until the real scenery loads.cheers Andy

It was set at 40. Forgot about that tweak, did everything else. In the midst of reinstalling my add-ons now but I'm sure that was the problem.
March 4, 201016 yr After reinstalls, without changing anything in cfg file...I've never experienced that effect, no matter the TBM setting. Hope it solves it for you, but I doubt it. - Red E8500 @ 4.1 | EVGA 275GTX (overclocked) | 2x2GB Mushkin Enhanced Redline @ 1066 | Samsung 24inch LCD @ 1920x1080 |
March 5, 201016 yr Author It fixed it for me, but your system is lightyears ahead of mine. Doubt you'd get that affect or any defect at all.

Doubt you'd get that affect or any defect at all.Shane, If I could make a suggestion based on looking at your build spec's. Consider upgrading your RAM to 2gigs. I had a machine very similar to yours where I ran FS9 and adding that additional 1gig of ram made a big difference in overall performance. It would be a simple and inexpensive upgrade...Glad that you found a fix to solve your FS9 graphics problems.Regards, -Robert
