Anyone, A few months ago I came across a file that allowed me to install into my Airplanes selection an app that allowed you to view the aircraft at any airport and scan around like you were in the tower. You would select it instead of an aircraft to fly. For the life of me I cannot find this program and I know it exists. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Ken

An addon called "follow me" I know has a tow tractor you can drive around and there is also something called "spotty". I think that might be included with follow me. If not It may be from aerosoft.

If you have FSX you could also try out BOB from Orbx as well. That works in a similar way. He is very charitable and goes wherever you want and he is free as well.

Try the free version of EZDOK. It has a camera that is called "world walk camera" which allows you to go in any direction in order to move around the airport. You can adjust your speed so that you can get around big airports quicker. You have to save a position in FSX first then exit and restart and then once you start the sim you will have an option in on your right click menu at the bottom for the camera. Hope this helps.

Guys, Bob is interesting but not what I was looking for. The program I am looking for was selected as a plane (like Bob) but it put you at the tower and you could pan around viewing the ai aircraft movement on the taxi ways and runways. It had radar, and schedule options also.

Well, this "tower" view vehicle is NOT something that we all dreamed up, I remember it also and I can't find it either.Not to worry, really. If all you want is to "look around' from a tower elevation viewpoint, you can add any 4-wheel vehicle and just set the eyepoint to 60 feet elevation (or whatever) and behold! tower view. [Views]eyepoint=0.0, 0.0, 60.0And you can slew it or drive it to another location if you wish.Or add another camera view to a current vehicle with the elevation set to the desired height.I do have the mobile tower vehicle from FS9 also. It is not completely functional but it still provides the viewpointI also remember (I think) some offering that let you attach the FSX control tower or radars to any aircraft and I didn't recognize that one either...Loyd
