I did :( I think they reason that you should pay less for the second package, because a lot of the work for the initial release is re-used. What makes their price model slightly unusual is that the bush package is stand-alone, not an addon, so if you only want the bush planes (and did not already buy the standard version) you get them at a very low price - less than $5 per model.I couldn't wait, and got to pay more :(

Did you change the default eyepoint, or just lift up your view for that first screenshot? I've been tinkering with the eyepoint so that I get a good view of the nose and can still see out the side windows, but no luck yet.

Yes, I use EZCA to create a special camera just for peering over the nose. Works especially well for finding those hidden grass fields, or seeing the runway during takeoff. :) Or just for better VFR navigation in the case of the floatplanes, lol.One more shot:image oversize

Yep, saw it and tried it. It didn't quite do the trick for me, but I sure appreciated the effort. I'm getting close by adjusting the eyepoint setting, but still far enough away to be frustrated.

I find it strange that you can get 4 variants for only $18.95 whereas you have to pay $25.95 for a 5th variant. Noone can say this more expensive one is the base model, because you do not need it for the 4 others. So what's so special about this initially released model that it costs that more? Has it more features than the others? Who will now buy the initially released modell? Strange policy of Carenado's!Wolfgang

I already bought the initial released model and I won't buy the new one because I don't like this policy at all. I will think twice before I buy another Carenado plane. Yes, I am a bit ######. :( But not so ###### that I can't post smileys anymore. :( :(

Bought my first product from Carenado two weeks ago. The C185F which I had been wanting for use as a bush plane. I love the plane, but now I see they have released a "bush" version and I am expected to purchase it all over again? I don't think so. Guess I'll stick with what I have. A poor retired gent doesn't have a choice. Guess I've made my last Carenado purchase. :( mauiguy
