April 17, 201016 yr Yes you can modify it using FS Panel Studio just like any other flightsim aircraft.We have dropped our previus nightlighting scheme for the 2D panels because we realize that this was being more of an inconvenience than a feature. While it is possible to get much better effects for different times of day by building the panel bitmaps into the gauge pack, the system FS X employs is really not that bad, plus it is much more problemmatic displaying bitmaps from the gauge pack compared to previous versions of FS. So from now on we will be using the stabdard FS X day/night panel bitmap system.Thanks for the replyI'll give the V-tail a try. I'm also interested in the Pilatus PC6 Porter and the Cessna 337 and 02A. Are those models also FS panel studio compatable?? Over the past two weeks, there has been some posting/threads that you'd think the poster had just taken a swig of putrefied vinegar before setting down to the keyboard. What is up with this?Is the moon or sun in the wrong phase?!?!?Geez people, stop SNIPPING at each other...well, some are, and thank gawd that 98 percent are NOT! This is a hobby forum, not mana from heaven....geez... If you don't like a product, comment on it from a TECHNICAL viewpoint, rather than emotional. Then...move on. You don't have to re-purchase from xxx developer in the future....Yea, folks just too upset. Everyone has a bad day and some of that naturally seems to bleed into other areas. I try to always look at my posts before I push the button and make sure I am not over reacting or just allowing other things to bleed into the email. Emails are difficult because it is not face to face. You could read an email and say "whats with this guy" but if he was speaking to you face to face, there might be expressions or body language that would change the feel of what is being said. That is why with email you have to be careful. This place is for enthusiasts to share info and sometimes there are disagreements, but it doesnt have to escalate into an outrage at become personal attacks. I personally dont like Obama's policies, but I don't dislike him personally. Attack the problem not the person. Bob
