April 16, 201016 yr Commercial Member Sure, three attempts; three complete lock-ups & crashes. It is crashing when you are trying to load it in the simulator? Let me know as I am sure I can help you with this. There was another thread and someone blamed it on Win7. Not sure why you would blame the OS, but are you using Win7?Bob GI used Windows 7 64 bit all during the development process, and it was tested on several like computers. The plane is fully compatible with XP, Vista and Windows 7.
April 16, 201016 yr When you load the plane, Is the view from the floor?Apparently there's an error being generated under some conditions by the final version of the V35B Load Manager. When run, although the correct data was being loaded, it was removing the views data and also part of the first camera definition entry. We already have a 7 Mb patch ready to go which corrects this, and it will be posted shortly. Meantime new installers have already been uploaded.
April 16, 201016 yr Commercial Member You can download this patch here:http://69.13.144.131/product/files/FSDevV35BSR.exeSend up a flare if you still have problems. I will be around and checking the forums all day tomorrow. If you have not registered at our forum yet feel free to do so. I may see incoming support inquiries faster there.
April 16, 201016 yr Author Thanks for your immediate response to these issues. However, the problem with the V35B can't be repaired with a simple patch. You need to get back to the drawing board.By the way,I don't have the Commander installed. I tried it and really like the VC. Nice plane. Thanks for the patches and for showing your customers that you really care. MSFS
April 16, 201016 yr Nothing new here then. I've just wasted $24 on their Cessna 337 which they're continuing to sell with built-in faults (bits missing from VC, corrupted text in pop up windows). Refund policy? Zilch. Funny that. Yet another company to add to my banned payware list. Thankfully a small number still offer customer service (PMDG, Real Air Simulations, Flight1).FSD were even cheeky enough to suggest that my 20MB cable connection was responsible for the atrocious download speeds from their website! This is something that is really not in our control. Most people have no problem at all connecting to our server and downloading at good bps rates. Connectivity between any two sites on the Internet can sometimes be problematic and has existed since the Internet began, and it is not necessarily the fault of either party. So it is really not fair to suggest otherwise.

This leads to a a simple question, what level of expertise do you possess which would cause us to believe you over the people who built the project? :(
April 16, 201016 yr Author Ron,With all due respect, who do you think that you're talking to?The problem with some of these pitiful developers is that they are afraid, that even a paying customer like me, would steal their software. As is the case with FSD.You obviously have your head up you know where. I take it personally when someone accuses me of unethical behavior.Where does it say that I can't give an honest review of an airplane that I paid for?You make me sick! MSFS

April 16, 201016 yr Hi, well I think a lock is coming so I thought I should put in my two cents. I agree with Ron, just try the patch and see if it corrects it. A simple reply from you could have been "Let me give the patch a try, and if it doesnt work then I will do a refund" Geez, a little civility please!Kind regardsBob G
April 16, 201016 yr Hello TrafficPilot, I have purchased quite a few planes from FSD. My experience is that they have always been very helpful when I had problems with their products. A few years ago I used to have 3 computers, one with center view and the two others for side view + a laptop where I had installed FS too, which means that with regular pc upgrades I had too re-install their software many times. When I explained my setup to Tim and Steve they always rest the installation counter for me. Yes, they are trying to protect themselves against piracy, but they are also willing to help you out when you explain to them why you are re-installing that many times. At least that is my experience.Jean-Jacques Jean-Jacques Struyf between EBBR and EBCI
