The V35B Bonanza was my first purchase from FSD - yesterday. I loaded the plane without mishap on the first try. I have win7 - 32 bit. I did experience some problems with the views but overcame it with the control keys - CTRL-Spacebar, type stuff. About 5 hours later I had a link to the new patch in my email. Loaded it. Loaded the default Cessna 172, loaded the new V35B and viola everything works great.I love this airplane. I may be the first one not to like the paint jobs or oversized N numbers but she flys great, sounds great, and the VC is up there among the best that I have seen. The gauges are crisp and clear, the 3d stuff is outstanding, especially the switches and cockpit labels. I am using the Realair Duke as a reference.I highly recommend anyone try this plane, especially when Tim just stated he will give you a refund if you are unhappy with it. I have about 4 hours flying time in the FSD model, all in the FTX/ORBX PNW. Jump over to their forum and read and see some shots. Ray,I'm glad that you like the plane. I don't! The patch won't correct the way it looks to me.I'm sorry if I offended some people. I'm just fed up!I've tried to support some developers, but some just don't deserve it.

I do not have the Bonanza but I DO have other products from FSD and have always found them to be very responsive to any support issues. I would highly recommend their products and their company.Djjose - opinions are welcome - trolls are not. And I DO know who I'm talking to.Vic

Let's try to calm this thread down so it doesn't have to be locked. Users have a right to express legit critics, and developers have a right to answer such critics and correct what is sometimes misinformation.We can still all be friends and recognize that both developers and customers are good for flight simming.Thanks.

I just got it and as a Debonair owner of 11 years have a few quick observations.Some things jump out at me as excellent immediately-the sounds are great-expecially at idle-few props model this correctly. (However-like almost all fs constant speed props-prop noise is not modelled correctly-I have been told it can be done, and I am constantly frustrated that this is not done. This is not particular to this aircraft, but seems particular to fs as a whole-but still puzzling).The fm seems amazing. I haven't put it thru its paces yet-but the "feel" is definately there and put a smile on my face. Fps are excellent.The cowl view is perfect! The gauges are extremely smooth.Some negatives-in 2d mode there is a small black pixel or two in the top of the windshield-needs to be painted out.I understand the comments about the vc-I would judge it average quality-not terrible, but also not the best that fsx has to offer. The 2d view is much superior in looks-for instance the panel is the right color, placards are there-even the post light look right. Not sure why these didn't make the vc. Is it possible some textures are missing from the vc? For instance no label on the nav/gps switch in the vc?<edit> I have found C167C for instance does have a nav/gps label in the vc-it does seem that there are some missing textures in some of the variations?Again-just some quick comments but I am happy with my purchase.

Only thing I can add is that I stated my personal dissatisfacton with the paint schemes and choice of font sizes within an hour or so of installing it yesterday. I little while ago I got an email with a link to the paintkit. To me that is impressive Developer reaction.No doubt FSD in very busy with this being the first full day of release of the bird. But, yet they took the time to address my thorny issues quick and neat. They certainly did not have to take the time and effort to send me a link to the paintkit.30 minutes later I have to go find something else to occupy my time. The numbers and been cleanly lifted and I can easily change the paint to whatever blows my skirt up.I think this reminds me of the Liberty Mutual insurance commercial on TV. The full minute is people being polite to one another and then passing it on. One good deeds seems to generate another, and another, etc. Wouldn't it be great if it worked at AVSIM.I have only extremely positive thoughts of the FSD folks at this time. We do offer a full refund if you just purchased the software are not satisfied with the product.As far as your download speeds I cannot comment on that. This is something that is really not in our control. Most people have no problem at all connecting to our server and downloading at good bps rates. Connectivity between any two sites on the Internet can sometimes be problematic and has existed since the Internet began, and it is not necessarily the fault of either party. So it is really not fair to suggest otherwise.

Tim I just want to go ahead and publicly state that I think you guys are moving in the right direction and are VERY fair with your posts on the forums when it comes to complaints. Your posts are extremely tactful and just wanted to say thanks for that. You may or may not remember me from the FS2002 era - I ended up buying the Navajo to show my good faith etc

As is the case with FSD.You obviously have your head up you know where.
