All the shots I posted are from the vc. I can post some more of the rest of the interior tomorrow though..
Are you able to modify the panel using FS panel Studio on the Bonanza. That was one of my biggest turn off issuses with FSD, not being able to add/remove gauges to 2D and 3D panels.

While you are waiting for Geof to post the VC and cabin pics, a couple of VC shots can be found herehttp://orbxsystems.com/forums/index.php?topic=21202.0RayM
Based on the Orbx forum pics of the vc and the ones in the AV Sim Screenshots forum by geofa, I think I will be holding out for the Carenado Bonanza! I've seen freeware vc's that are much better than this. Frog

Fs Panel Studio was used to position all the gauges and should work fine for customizing the panels.Regarding the VC detailing , this aircraft was designed to be frame rate friendly and in order to assurethis the texture load was kept at two main textures for the VC and another two for the Exterior model. The total texture load on this aircraft is 30% of what has become common with many releases, and this was chosen as a course of action to ensure that the model was able to function well on most computers, of course the trade off is details , in this case items that are out of view are not included and polycount is reduced to levels that dont burden most computers. Its a design decision that was tried on this release along with using 2D panels and VC gauges that can be replaced with3rd party units, its perhaps a bit "retro" as a design philosophy , but in addition to making the frame rate high it also allows the price of the finished product to be kept low.

Geofa that is true you did have VC shots from the pilot seat; great ones too. :( I meant to suggest more vc views of the radio stack, etc.thanksChuck

Ditto!

Chuck-as I pointed out above-there are inconsistencies between the vc's of the different liveries (if nothing else the gps switch label). I assume a patch will be issued to correct.

Chuck,This is real interesting info for me. Could you tell us more about the design criteria. You know we have a lot of "aircraft design critics" on these boards that speak with great authority. You know, the angle of the dangle is directly proportional the heat of the meat, provided the mass of the &@($* remains constant kinda folks. I have read in the last few days that the V tail is way off in proportion to something and the rear window is 10% smaller or larger than something or the distance from somewhere to somewhere else is off by a millimeter or maybe even two millimeters. I'm guessing none of these folks own the FSD model but are using Airliner photos and YouTube movies for their design input. I would also bet they have never owned, touched, or even been close to a real V35B Bonanza. :( So, as you may be our best bet for real design data, how about it? Thanks.RayM Owner of the FSD V35B, lover of all Bonanzas, washed, waxed, and rode in the real deal. :( http://orbxsystems.com/forums/index.php?topic=21202.30

Hi, well I think a lock is coming so I thought I should put in my two cents. I agree with Ron, just try the patch and see if it corrects it. A simple reply from you could have been "Let me give the patch a try, and if it doesnt work then I will do a refund" Geez, a little civility please!Kind regardsBob G
-------------------------------------------------------------------------I so absolutely agree with your comment, Bob. What is going on here? Over the past two weeks, there has been some posting/threads that you'd think the poster had just taken a swig of putrefied vinegar before setting down to the keyboard. What is up with this?Is the moon or sun in the wrong phase?!?!?Geez people, stop SNIPPING at each other...well, some are, and thank gawd that 98 percent are NOT! This is a hobby forum, not mana from heaven....geez... If you don't like a product, comment on it from a TECHNICAL viewpoint, rather than emotional. Then...move on. You don't have to re-purchase from xxx developer in the future....

Mitch-very funny and good observation. We mods have noticed that the bad times here always come suddenly and in a wave. I have often remarked to the other mods it must be sunspots! :( In any case-yesterday seemed to be a bad day-hopefully the sunspots will erode and we will go back to having good times.

RayM , The main criteria to follow from the outset is to love what you're doing and the old Vtail is something to behold ,the second is to try and capture what is the essence of what you see with the tools at hand and skillset and documentation at ones disposal .For dimensional information three view drawings were used and as many pictures as could be found to get what was in my head into 3DS , much like what was tried in the forum pics , superimposing and positioning images over each other ( or mesh )isn't easy and yields errors with perspective as the main culprit , there are conceivably errors in this rendition and with any rendering of an objectthe idea is to capture the essence of the Vtail , in that i hope we succeeded.
Thanks Chuck,I do love the old V-tail, that was my first real flight as a 12 year old. I can still remember how dirty the underbelly could get with that oily crud, and how dirty I got washing and waxing it. I can even recall the smells some 50 years later. But, at the time, and actually still now, my thoughts were - "it just don't get no better than this".RayM

Yes you can modify it using FS Panel Studio just like any other flightsim aircraft. We have dropped our previus nightlighting scheme for the 2D panels because we realize that this was being more of an inconvenience than a feature. While it is possible to get much better effects for different times of day by building the panel bitmaps into the gauge pack, the system FS X employs is really not that bad, plus it is much more problemmatic displaying bitmaps from the gauge pack compared to previous versions of FS. So from now on we will be using the stabdard FS X day/night panel bitmap system.
