April 27, 201016 yr I just learned something about airliners here. Just like I fly my Cessna in real life with an airliner you get over the runway at a decent hight, pull back the throttle all the way, and flare with no power. I always thought one flew all the way down with power even on the flare with airliners. Another thing was full power wasn't applied on the takeoff roll. Seeing as this a 737NG I think of a takeoff roll at KMDW with a full load of passengers and fuel for a flight all the way to KSAN. Is it possible to lift off of 4R with anything less than full throttle?
