Hi, you have given us this wonderful new plane, the Bonanza. And you have also provided two modelswithout 3d knobs, for VC customization. This is great, and I thank you! However, the radio stack is pre-defined and cut into separate slices so that we cannot put in theradios that we might want to install. Is there any way that you could provide us with a model variantthat has the radio stack as one continuous addressable space, so that we can install both full height and half height radios?

This is hoping you get their attention. I really don't understand why the approach is so different from their C182RG for instance. Probably a totally different design team. I would also like to have a free to install radio/avionics stack. Nothing look worst than a black line in the middle of the instrument.RayM

Agree 100% and had posted the same thought in the middle of another thread. This seems already destined to be a classic piece of art, but, screams for a GNS530 to match her thoroughbred appearance.Joe

Ditto on the request. I'd also like it to apply to everything. I tried putting the flight one aspen in last night and could not use their automatic config program or figure out how to do it manually.

Add me to the list. I just got the F33 installed and want to put my RXP GNS430 in it, and can't get the Carenado knobs and face plate to disappear on their GNS430. I suppose I could just add the RXP and put in a click spot for it since I'd probably pop it up to use it anyway, but had hoped to have it in the VC panel so the same page would display on both the VC and the popup. A small thing, but it would be nice. Tha plane looks fantastic, and I can't wait to fly it. Oh, I did try the 2-D knob replacement and I really don't see any difference. Of course I also can't find insturctions on how to use it, so maybe I didn't do it right. Anyone know where those instructions might be?Bill

You can definitely change it to the RXP 430, just not the 530. You need to add the knob-less model folder into your F33 folder. Since I don't have it in front of me right now, say it is called model.noknobs. You will need to go into the aircraft.cfg file and change each line that says "model=" to (for this example) "model=noknobs". You will have to do this for each fltsim.# section. I think there is 5 or 6 by default. That should do the trick. Now night lighting is another story. At night, the old knob locations and old screen will be lit up. I simply blacked out the knob and screen light on the respective .bmp file.

You can find these model folders in the Customization folder. Copy the one you want (one or two yokes)into the F33 folder and give it a shorter name - like "model.noknobs" as in the previous posting..
