May 21, 201016 yr Then don't use Java... :( Java is only needed for the gui and I am certainly not going to install something like Java just for that while I can simply edit the bat with Notepad...! (I like to keep my system as clean as possible and imho Java isn't clean. :( ) Here is how my bat file looks:start D:\"Programs\FPS_Limiter_0.2\"FPS_Limiter.exe /f:25 /x:OFF /l:OFF "C:\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exeCopy this line into your bat file and make sure to edit the paths to your paths (and also make sure to keep the very odd "where they are!!!). BTW /f:25 is the fps you want: change to any number you want your fps to be at. The other options are better left alone. If you still have problems using the Limiter (that is the bat itself) then it doesn't have something to do with Java because, as I said, the limiter itself doesn't use Java at all. I have the limiter running fine on W7 64 bit btw (without having Java installed).

Is that your experience?I have the latest Java but just cant get it to work.I can't get it to open at all. Nothing happens. I'm still using 32 bit Win 7, so maybe thats it.I just tried the FFTF=0, tweak, and indeed I get a steady 30FPS using the native FrameLock, so maybe I won't have to worrry about the Limiter.Actually I'm probably as steady as I'll ever get. Everything seems to work well, at least for the kind of flying I do. GA around Oklahoma City. :-)Donald E. May 21, 201016 yr Writing of the Limiter command line, is there any way to get an argument passed to fsx.exe via that limiter command? I tried various ways with different sets of quotes and never got it to work.scott s..
