Is there any way to add new voices to FSX ATC?

I happen to own PFE and the expansion pack. It's not what I'm looking for.

I'm in. All we need is 499 more members and the "burning desire" to succeed. :(
Did you even BOTHER to read my post? What you are asking for is quite frankly not feasible. Period.

I don't know... spending a few thousand on software, creating a studio environment to record the voices from and spending at minimum quite a few months and more likely over a year recording and editing for a single voiceset for a currently out of production entertainment title might be one person's definition of success. Let's let DJJose give it a go and can report progress on this posting. :(

More like letting it go, instead of giving it a go.It was a bad idea.

It's OK DJJose, I actually wondered about this back in FS9 days and when I found out how much was actually involved also realized it's not feasible. I did a number of mods for editvoicepack for the Pacific Northwest so all the non-towered airports would use their actual name rather than the alphapnemonic ICAO code. It was an improvement for small airport GA flying. Wish the work had continued for FSX and yes, I know you can import the file into FSX... but that would mess up other mods I have though.

...and we wonder why ACE's never did much to improve ATC. It probably would have resulted in a multi year delay in the release date. We'd probably still be waiting for FS2004, if they really did a thorough job! While RC, and VOXATC may be a little more accurate procedurally, it's voices are robotic, and that's because they use voice fonts, not actual recordings.

Thanks

No, not a "bad idea," just one that was uninformed. There's a big difference you know! Years ago I had actually printed out the required "scripts" and thought I'd give it a try myself...After the first three dozen "recordings" I realized that it would take me months just to get my own voice recorded, but never did find any "free" way to mark the .wav files for the tokens... :( :(
