IMO the 747X is still the best addon PMDG have ever made, showing its age a little but the flight characteristics, options (freighter, pax) and even virtual cockpit are still A+ to me. Love it to death. Haven't flown the sim in a while but I feel tomorrow is a long haul Cargolux or UPS flight from ELLX or EDDK to RKSI

There's quite a bit of cabin space that was modeled with the 747x, I wish we could somehow opt that out and it would help somewhat

Is it strange that a rookie like me love flying the big PMDG MD11 a lot more then the smaller Wilco Embraer? After reading the manual and flying the tutoral a few times i love flying the big MD11. It has a great FMS and a good working AP-system. A few days ago i bought the Wilco E-Jets Serie with the embraer 190. After some flying with this baby i run back to the big MD11. The FMS of the embraer is reasonable but the AP is just inconsistent. Is the PMDG MD11 very good programmed or is the Wilco that bad?

Nothing wrong with you my friend, the PMDG is a better product. One of my favorites to land.

Have you tried Lefteris's 'texture fix'? http://forums.flightsimlabs.com/index.php?...turefix-v11zip/ It transformed my FSX into a flyable sim. :(

theres any chance to remove the first class textures? maybe then is possible to can get higher fsp

I've flown both the PMDG MD-11 and the Wilco Embraer and to be honest I like both of them.The thing is I'm sort of a piston-engined-propellerhead and so my money goes to A2A Simulations. In this case, the B377.I just love vintage airliners and warbirds!I can't wait for Accu-Sim to hit the P-51 and P-40.

I believe that you can ....Go to FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\B747\ (example name). There are model folders in there. You need to edit the model.cfg in the folders model foldersComment out the line that refers to the interior model. Like this :[models]normal=..\model\747//interior=..\model\747_interiorYou just need to add the // and you will no longer have a VC.
