No, the $40 quote was for the first HOTAS they developed about 10 years ago.....the new unit will probably be around the $400 mark, but that's to be seen later when the release comes out. Thanks for noting the $40 could be misinterpreted.

Man, I've still got an F22 Pro HOTAs that kicks arse. I have the digital EPROMS in it and bought an extra F-16 stick to cannabalize for parts. I figured the days of very high end fighter sticks was over. This new A-10 unit has me very intrigued because the F22 wont last for ever, steel parts or not. 400 bucks is a bit large though.Eric

I still have the old F-16 FLCS, and a tricked-out Cougar HOTAS with custom CNC-machined aluminum gimbals and Hall Effect sensors in place of the pots. And THAT, I understand, is the real story with the Warthog--it will use HE sensors right out of the box without having to resort to expensive aftermarket mods.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

The thing that kills it for me is there is no FFB. I'm currently using an X-52 Pro, however if I had the money, I'd be more likely to go for a G940 over this strictly due to FFB.
