July 16, 201015 yr Guys,I've posted this problem on the RC forum too. Basically, when using ASE and Rada Contact, I suffer delays in communication. When I contact ATC, there is always a delay in a reply, and similarly when I reply to them there is a delay. When I use RC without ASE I dont have a problem. Any suggestions?Rory

I also have both products (ASE and RC4) and the computer do not suffer any delay (both products on a client PC) Roger See my specs in my profile
July 17, 201015 yr This is a well known problem. You have to disable global mode of ASE (FSX Direct Wind Control, Visibility Graduation and Smoothing) and use FSUIPC to smooth winds and temperatures. Unfortunately, this disables most of the goodies in ASE.It will also help with RC4 directing you to the correct destination airport runway based on winds, since global mode affects this in RC4 too.Best wishesSteve Stephen Munn
July 17, 201015 yr Hi,What we have found that instead of adjusting ASE settings is to run ASE/RC on different cores if you have a multi-core system. But what ever woks best for users is the best for them!
July 18, 201015 yr Author Thanks for the input. I've disabled DWC and will also assign ASE and RC to different cores and see what happens.Rory
July 26, 201015 yr I was thinking about this problem. What if DWC is on and at teh same time destination weatehr is applied to weather stations within 80 miles - destination weather. This should resolve the problem of wrong rwy assigments given by RC4 - did anyone tried this out? Tom Link
