July 29, 201015 yr Hi all!I recently bought Wilco Airbuas Vol 1&2 (yeah, call me stupid but those are currently the best Airbuses for FSX, sad but true).First.. today I wanted to get some liveries from their website and I searched wilcopub in google and google told me "This site may harm your computer." What's going on?Second.. I have a problem with AP. When I press AP1 button after takeoff I always get Master warning message and the AP doesn't turn on... I figured it out that if I press P (pause) after takeoff and than press AP1 the light on AP1 button turns on but than when I unpause (press P again) the light turns off but now I can click on the AP1 button and it works... if that makes any sense. Anybody else with this problem? And the last question... in the manual it says I should adjust null zone on joystick so the fly-by-wire would work properly.. I don't get it.. would this effect handling of other airplanes? Should I change it back if I fly other planes? Should I change it at all? How do you know if it's not working properly?Any help would be much appreciated! Tomaz Drnovsek My FSX Videos My AVSIM Gallery
July 29, 201015 yr As far as the AP is concerned, you are probably in flight managed mode, without a flightplan loaded. Are there orange dots on the display's? Do they show speed, heading? If not just click on the knobs, and the dots, should be extinguished, and replaced with the speed and heading values. That is if you are flying free flight. If you are flying with the FMGC loaded properly, then it should engage in FMA mode. Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d

When I do that thing with pause (P) than it works.. if I was doing something wrong, it should not work just because I hit pause button, I think. Tomaz Drnovsek My FSX Videos My AVSIM Gallery

What altitude are you trying to engage it? I think you need to be at least 500 ft to engage. Else I don't know what it can be, it works fine for me! July 29, 201015 yr Hi all!I recently bought Wilco Airbuas Vol 1&2 (yeah, call me stupid but those are currently the best Airbuses for FSX, sad but true). Not sure what you meant by calling you stupid for purchasing the Airbus, because Feelthere done one heck of a great jod with them, and thet operate quite well on my system. Have you tried setting or calibrating your throttles to recommended FSUIPC settings. (from wilco website). When you get the AP master warning, it will tell you what error you're making on right lower panel, (I believe). I know your throttle needs to be in TO or FLEX mode during takeoff, and you need to enter FLEX temp in FMC.Also the FD and auto throttles buttons need to in ON position. Also when you feel more comfortable with the busus there's an upgrade package thats avalible from Eric Marciano that will improve the Wilco busus even more. July 29, 201015 yr I have a problem with AP.old support forum has YEARS of information -http://iemit.com/forum(open for searches, no longer available for posting)support forum -http://forum.iemit.com(registration required)adjust null zone on joystick so the fly-by-wire would work properlyif the null zone is not set appropriately your joystick will 'lock out' the FBW system and as a result the FBW will not work ... and you can have problems like the AP not engaging as you are holding the sidestick/joystick off-center and immediately disengaging the AP.[/u]I searched wilcopub in google and google told me "This site may harm your computer." What's going on?i just conducted a search with google for 'wilco' 'wilcopub' and 'feelthere'. no warning noted on the search results.google is wrong and received a bogus report of problems with wilco's and feelThere's sites. -- D. July 29, 201015 yr ....Scoob (or anyone else)Slightly off topic, but I've noticed that the A319/320 seem to fly with quite a noticeable nose-up attitude in the cruise, and even in the descent, with fuel tanks filled to only 50% capacity. Is this correct? If not, am I missing an in-flight trim setting somewhere?RegardsToni.
July 29, 201015 yr you obviously don't understand what Fly By Wires means... this is not the same than flying a boeingDuring take off, you MUST center your jostick in the nul zone before turning the AP on ! this is absolutly mandatoryread the manuals carrefully first !

July 29, 201015 yr what % is the nose up altitude? And trim?? Cmon now...Just over 5 degrees nose up - not sure about the pitch setting (will check next flight). It was in level flight at FL380.Toni.
July 29, 201015 yr It was in level flight at FL380.what was the Gross weight? fuel is only part of the issue ... weight of cargo + passengers + fuel.FL380 is high and a full flight and only 1/2 fuel you cold be too heavy.you didn't mention airspeed. cruise at M0.80search the old support forum, i believe i once posted a flightlevel v. weight list -http://iemit.com/forum-- D. July 30, 201015 yr Author Not sure what you meant by calling you stupid for purchasing the Airbus, because Feelthere done one heck of a great jod with them, and thet operate quite well on my system.Ok, maybe I was to harsh on that one because I actually really enjoy Wilco Airbuses.. before I bought them I read a lot of stuff about them and some were not that good. But a lot of that comments were probably made before bug fixes and stuff. Also when you feel more comfortable with the busus there's an upgrade package thats avalible from Eric Marciano that will improve the Wilco busus even more.Well, aside from that AP hiccup I think I'm quite comfortable with Airbuses, I'll definitely check that up. Thanks!you obviously don't understand what Fly By Wires means... this is not the same than flying a boeingDuring take off, you MUST center your jostick in the nul zone before turning the AP on ! this is absolutly mandatoryread the manuals carrefully first !I must say I'm not sure if the joystick was in the null zone when I tried to engage AP... I'm flying Boeings for years (PMDG, LvD,...). This could actually explain this stuff with the pause (P) button - when in pause the joystick is definitely in the null zone... I'm going to work now, I'll try it when I come home. Thanks! Tomaz Drnovsek My FSX Videos My AVSIM Gallery

It occurs even when the aircraft is very light.Ian
