hi thought i give nhancer a try, installed but when i click on the exe nhancer 2.5.9 appears briefly but no program opens up.what i have tried so far uninstall program, download and reinstall but still the same. i have made sure i downloaded the 64 bit version im using windows 7 64 bit. any help would be appreciated. thanks, jim

I've got the same issue, maybe it doesn't work with newest drivers?

I run the 64bit version and have the latest nVidia drivers. It runs, but I can't seem to get the AA to work at all. I haven't messed around with it much lately though. Perhaps the download for nHancer got corrupt? I would uninstall it, delete the folders in either Apps roaming or Program Data (or both) and download and install it again. It may also be a problem if you didn't run any nvidia cleaner before installing the new drivers. I always do that so maybe that's the problem?Hope this helps,

just checked the nhancer forum seems new nvidia drivers have changed 25xx ones, hopefully nhancer should work at the next release.just installed a new driver for my card but did not use the driver uninstall cleaner so will try again. thanks, jim

I tried it with clean Windows installation. Looks like simply we have to wait for update.

nHancer DOES NOT WORK with any 2xx.xx series driver. The author of the program is supposedly making a new version but it's been many months now with no status updates from him.

What are we supposed to do? Is there anything else than nhancer to get us some damned AA in FSX?

Yeah, not having the AA definitely is pulling at my short hairs now. I knew the AA wasn't working, but thought it (nhancer) was still working on one of my other games, apparently not. At 1st I thought the lack of AA was due to the settings I just got into from the corruption topic fsx.cfg thing. It still opens for me no problem, but AA doesn't do diddly. Hopefully he didn't keel over and will have an update before the NGX hits the tarmac.

Going back to 197.xx will solve your problems eveyone.It's going to be months until nhancer 3 will get released.

Not possible with some of the new Nvidia cards like the GTX460 - they only work with the current ones.

As far as I am aware, you don't need nHancer with the latest Nvidia graphics drivers.

You don't need it to get normal multisample AA, but if you want the combined/hybrid modes like 8xS, you need nHancer (which does not work currently with them) or something similar that can access those modes. They're still hidden in the new drivers.
