August 1, 201015 yr I bought this product a while back, but ive never used the proper fuel manager, I tried searching for it and it turns out I dont even have it?Where can I get it again? Must I re-install it?Kind Regards.
August 1, 201015 yr I've been using this one for years. I used to use it to both plan and load fuel. Now since I use FSBuild to plan fuel I just use this to load the fuel...http://www.metacraft.com/737NGFP/ Dave Paige
August 2, 201015 yr Sorry about the product name, it was the 747-400X that I bought. Thanks Dave for the link, but I want to try and get the one I bought.

August 2, 201015 yr You are still not supplying your real name while posting. This is a requirement in the PMDG forum.Otherwise you will not get any support from PMDG staff and risk getting your thread deleted. You can find the forum rules here.Take a minute to set up your signature and you are good to go. Regarding the fuel manager. There is no such thing. You need to set the proper fuel load through the PMDG menu within FSX.To accomplish this press ALT when your flight is loaded and select the menu with your mouse.Your 747X documentation comes with extensive performance data sheets and charts. You can calculate the proper fuel amount for any given flight yourself. If you do not want to do the calculation manually you can get a rough estimate with the help of the FMC.Otherwise you will need 3rd party software. Regards "A life is like a garden. August 2, 201015 yr Regarding the fuel manager. There is no such thing. You need to set the proper fuel load through the PMDG menu within FSX.RegardsNot so. The 744X came with an external program that allowed you to modify payload weights; and fuel, but at a lesser extent. But this is only a payload editor, not a full scale fuel calculator. August 2, 201015 yr Eric, the load manager for the 747 did not actually "load" the fuel (as putting it in the tanks). At least not on my PC.I always thought the fuel slider was used purely for MTOW considerations. But to be honest I only used the Load Manager with the FS9 version of the Queen and have since switched to TOPCAT. So if this functionality was added I apologize for providing wrong advice. August 2, 201015 yr The load manager will put fuel on board unless you are loading a saved flight, which in this case the saved flight's fuel is loaded. Dan Downs KCRP
August 3, 201015 yr The load manager does not work for me too, that is, putting the fuel on.So let me get this right, the way to get your passenger/cargo load on is to use this load manager, and to get fuel ill have to use the one in the simulator, (that is, pressing add-on, PMDG, fuel etc)Can I calculate it such as the one that comes with the 747 Queen of the skies?Or do I just have to use the documentation? Thanks.Constantine V.
August 3, 201015 yr First, Lets troubleshoot the loader issue. 1. You are using FSX correct? 2. Did you install FSX and the PMDG747 to the default location (this might have nothing to do with it) 3. Did you click "Send to FSX" when you were done editing fuel and payload?Second, There are tons of fuel calculators out there, espesially on the Avsim library. I have uploaded one so if you have Excel or higher you can download mine by searching "Eric Vander" Eric Vander Pilot and Controller Boston Virtual ATC KATL - The plural form of cow.
