I did read the entire thread thank you and the advice given was this:
Hi Tom,Acceleration is not needed, I run SP1 & SP2 and it works fine for me so that's not the problem. You could try removing the MomentumEffect from the config files and see what happens, just place a // in front of all your MomentumEffect=No entries in your camera and aircraft config files and see what happens. It should look like this//MomentumEffect=NoThis way if it doesn't work you could just remove the //
Now Bob go back and re-read what I said and to clarify I was not questioning why the forward slashes were placed, I was stating the effect placing the forward slashes would have. Now to put it simply again if the forward slashes were placed it would have the same effect as "MomentumEffect=True". The cfg entries posted have the effect commented out therefore the effect will revert to its default state which is probably on.Todd

Hi Todd,Since none of the other options worked to stop the Momentum Effect, I figured we would try removing the command line that triggers the effect in a final attempt to stop the effect. I'm out of ideas, I do not know why it will not allow him to stop the effect. Why do you believe it would default to true if the command line is removed, if there is no command line to run the effect it shouldn't run.

Todd,IMHO you still have failed to read the entire thread. Read the thread prior to the "adivce that was given" which by the way was a last ditch effort at rectifying the perceived problem. I'm not going to say anymore other than I apologize for getting out of the wrong side of the bed today.Regards,Bob
