Like many of you I bought the LFC ASAP! I followed the manual closely (I mean that I am 100% sure I did things as descriped), but I seem not to be able to open up the tail. No Hyster drivers appears and no opening. The eicas is indicating that the tail is open (or opening) by a yellow indication. I changed scenery setting from high to low, but no result.Any thoughts?Martin

my guess is you need either APU 2 or External Power 2 set to Available. Just like in the -400F when you wanted to open the nose or side door

I asked this in another post. I don't have external power 2 available. I managed to do it once, but I don't know how. When I did, the tail didn't open anyway. My settings were exactly like the image in the manual. Martin

I was having same problem at first getting door and such to open; go into the PMDG options in the Add-on dropdown. There is a checkbox for ground power to be available, check this option. Then in the OH panel the Ground power option will become available press in the buttons for both. Be sure to set the buttons/commands as explained in the instructions.Then use the payload screen to select the piece of equipment.Pretty cool to see load and unload, I thought it be more arcadish that we would get to control the loader and make sure it's aligned correctly to load.Over nice model, I seen some alignment issues with the textures (paints) inside the aircraft with the ribbing structure. I have not yet flown the aircraft, not had the time to get that far, does anyone know if the flight characteristics have changed for the aircraft. This question more intented for those that fly the 747 on a regular basis.

Hej, I did get ext pwr 2. I had 1 available, then I went to the pmdg menu and unchecked and checked grond power again. Then ext pwr 2 was available.However, no succes opening that door.Martin Pampiermole
