Hi,I didn't map the same way as in the manual, instead I used Ctrl-Shift-1 for Cargo Door Left. Now the one thing you have to be is patient, the tug is slow to get there. I give it 15 seconds or so, or basically if I am in a cold dark cockpit I use this time to do the alignments. Also if you are not getting Ext Pwr 2, use the PMDG menu as mentioned above. It does not immediately show up, go back in and check/uncheck and exit; that seemed to always work for me.The other thing, don't do much of anything else while you are doing the load/unload. You can cause the aircraft not to have enough power to close the door. Hope this helps

If you've got APU 2 GEN or EXT PWR 2 avail and the tail won't open after 30 seconds or so...and this is consistent...try uninstalling and reinstalling the LCF.

If nothing happens in a minute, then I can't help you there. Also make sure that the loading procedure is followed as per said in the manual by entering the proper values in the payload menu built in FSX.

Waited like 5 minutes and no result. Th ext2 pwr trick I mentioned before in this thread does work all the time. I'm sure that I follow the manual closely. The other cargodoors do open. Since a lot of other people have this problem I dare saying this could be a bug? Please help because this part is the best of the addon!Martin Pampiermole

I did everything you stated. It seems like the install does not complete because I was never asked for my order number and the redistributable doesn't install at the end. Tried several removals/reinstalls. All with "run as administrator" checked. Ticket was submitted. I trust PMDG will figure it out soon.Chuck Biggins

Not really sure. I do know it never asked me for my order number. Ryan is helping me and sent me new download links for 400X and LCF. Trying it now.

Hi all i didnt get to enter my order number or any thing i did get the message to update my pmdg747-400x which i ignored and click ok than it installed the lcf. i didnt get the trust ddl box other than this everything works ok to the manual. Went for a flight around the airfield to see if everyworks landed and unloaded with no problems

I do not have the 747i installed. Could that be a problem? And I haven't checked preview directx x. Can't test it right now. On my way to Japan. I' m just guessing.

I suggest turning on the apu and then trying to open the door. I am sure it is just a checklist issue.

Still having problems after uninstalling every add on and FSX and reloading only FSX, the 400x and LCF. Does it matter where it's parked? I'm trying to think of everything now.
