if you're still having issues make sure you map the key to a button that is not mapped to anything else - that was my problem and it works fine now that I used a different key than what was described in the manual.

First off before you go uninstalling everything again, make SURE you have read the manual. Make SURE you are resetting the weight AS DESCRIBED in the manual. Make SURE you have both EXT 1 and EXT 2 ON or the APU running with the APU switches ON as described in the manual. And make SURE to WAIT the amount of time described in the manual before you see anything happening and that you have assigned a key assignment for the left rear cargo door. And finally, make SURE you are running in LCF mode from the configuration utility. There's a lot to overlook if you are rushing thru it, I doubt its an issue with the software more than an issue with not following thru with everything on your part.

Apart from the uninstalling and reinstalling I'm 100000% sure that I did everything as discribed. (Don't want to be arrogant, but it is not that diffcult) I'll try the reinstallation later.

I second that.Have the same problems as - obviously - many of you: tail not swinging - ah by the way the other cargo doors open - and the main gear missing on the 747F when switching back. And I am, too, sure the ground handling bus is powered and everything has been set up as described in the manual. Also I tried many variations.I also tried installing manually the Visual C++ redistributable as I think I read it somewhere. But to no avail.PMDGs Support Server gives me an error, I guess I'm not the only one.I would appreciate a post by PMDG. I not even know, which redistributable the software requires.SincerelyClemens Kühn

Oke, It's working for me now. I tell you what I did, thanks to all the advice.1. uninstall the LCF2. open config manager with admin rights, switch to passenger version3. open fsx and start a flight with passenger version. Close fsx then4. I installed the 747-i (didn't before)5. Install the LCF6. Open config manager with admin rights. Switch tot 747-i on the left side and LFC at the right side. Save.7. open fsx and start a flight.8. Set the cargo to 1-1-1-0-08. parking break on, engines of, ext 1 on and ext 2 available, apu available9. re-assigned cargo key to number 010. pressed 0 and the hyster came up in seconds.11. load the wings and there we goTo be honest... I have no idea what I did different then the first time, beside the first 6 steps. Thanks for the help. I hope it helps for everybodyHappy loading!

I think it had to do something with the -8 being installed. I do not have it and Paul from tech support asked me if I did. He sent me the fix the next day and that did the trick. This is one of the many reasons I'll keep buying PMDG and I know I don't need a "demo" version. Good work Paul. Thanks! :)

In the fsx load screen... what you want to load. Wings, fuselages, etc... sorry bad... bad English as a flying Dutchman!

This is a screenie of my FSX LCF Load Screen.....don't see any options for Wings or Fuselage. If I select "Change Payload", that only shows weight setting for aircraft sections. Any Suggestions??screenshot47.png

What are you trying to tell him? You have to use the FSX load manager for the LCF.I hope he has it figured out now. It was over a week now.
