August 22, 201015 yr Lately I've begun to notice that Traffic X Ai, do not seem to recognize the user aircraft in any way, the computer will continue to land planes, and the planes will not break while you are backing out of a parking spot, is there a way to fix this?
August 22, 201015 yr I have My Traffic X installed, http://secure.simmarket.com/b.-renk-mytraffic-x-pro.phtml, today on push back from KMEM and American Eagle CRJ, was blocking my taxi path and it stopped while I taxied my LDS 767 out from the gate. Same thing happen when I was 10th for takeoff, all the ai followed perfectly. Check to make sure you don't have allow plane to crash checked onBob.
August 22, 201015 yr Commercial Member This kind of thing is more likely to happen when using FPS Unlimited, as less time is given for figuring out if any conflicts exist. www.supertrafficboard.com
August 22, 201015 yr I have been using Traffic X since it was first released and I can say that I have never had this issue. AI planes do indeed recognise my aircraft. Whilst taxiing, ATC will request them to "hold position" if I am on the main taxiway, and I am similarly also asked to "hold position" if they are on the main taxiway. For push back, the same is true, "hold position" is called if another aircraft is taxiing etc. For takeoffs and extended waits for landing aircraft, I am not sure it is Traffic X that is the cause for that, or just the way the sim handles the AI. I use AISmooth and generally don't have too much of a problem with having to wait too long.Hmmm, it's interesting what flying_w posted ... I have just began using FPS set to unlimited after finding it gives me a FPS increase ... so it will be interesting to see if the Traffic X AI now start to ignore me. Regards, Freddy
August 24, 201015 yr The AI traffic are more likely to react to you (under the direction of ATC) if you are also taxiing under ATC control, if you are just driving around not using ATC, I have under those circumstances seen th AI act as though you were not there. Yes I have Traffic X AI, but I don't think this is specific to that, more likely it's the ATC engine.
August 26, 201015 yr Do Traffic X a/c follow airways like UT2? August 26, 201015 yr I don't think so. I'm pretty sure that they fly direct. Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
August 26, 201015 yr No bgl based traffic follows flight plans, only AI that has been spawned by Simconnect and assigned a plan can follow flight plans. Cheers, Andy.
