NGX,, or Queen X?

Featured Replies

I was wondering, I want another PMDG aircraft, and the two that I would like that seem to be the closest to being out are the one that's obviously already out the Queen X, and from what I've read the next thing coming out will be the NGX, and I am wondering, which I should get, I love long haul, but also like the shorter flights as well. What are your reccomendations?Patrick Boynton

Ummm...... Both!!! :( Well that all depends on what you want to do the most. If you choose the Queen, you can fly her tonight. And you can also play with the new LCF model (15$ extra) or add the 8i version (15$extra) with a killer sound set!!! :( Or, you can sit with the rest of us and wear out your f5 key until the NGX is out!! Either way, you can't go wrong!

PMDG j41, 747-400x, 747-8i/f, NGX.......Finally!!!!

Please, don´t wear out the F5 button. It will just increase demand on AVSIM servers. Leave the server-buster operation for the release of the NGX. :D

Id say it really depends on what flavor of flying you are into. IF you love doing long haul flights, the Queen is a must. However, If you love to do short haul flights then the NGX is the best bang for your buck. If you are really stuck btwn the two, I would say go for the NGX. Heres why...In my opinion of course :( 1. Its brand new technology that will surpass the 747 when it comes to the realism and feeling of flying a jet.2. It most likely will give you better performance when it comes to the simulator. This is all based on what PMDG has said and all of the members' speculations.3. Graphically, you will be blown away. These may seem very trivial but its just some food for thought. If you can swing buying both, go for it. Also, If you really want to go the whole nine yards, Get the J41. With the J41, NGX, 747, you can go through the ranks of FO through each and play the fun game of reserve FO on the J41 all the way through line CA on the 747! IT would be fun. Imagine how quick the upgrades would come......and no furloughs!!!! It can't get better than that!

FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠

I love our 747, but seriously, the NGX is going to blow away anything else we make. It's a whole other level of awesome.

Ain´t it "legendary awesomeness"? just to quote Barney Stinson...BestHolger

I just can't get into the way the MD-11 works. Maybe I need more practice, but the way the Queens systems are setup is perfect. Just enough of a pilot workload if you want to automate flight. And she handles like a dream. I would get the Queen, I am still enjoying it now since the day it came out.
