Do you have both FS9 and FSX installed? If so, I suggest that you go to Flight1 and download the registry fix tool that you will find there and use it to reset your FS9 path...DJ

Check your Hard Drive - where your FS2004 is actually installed - to see if there actually is a folder named Addon scenery.If you do have it - and it is spelled correctly, then use the registry repair as was suggested by another responder to check and correct the registry entry (if necessary) for FS2004. The fact that you also have FSX installed should not be a factor in the FS2004 error message.Keep us posted, please.

I think this is the problem with Win7 and FS scenery library. There are other posts on the FSX forum which address this. Search that forum.Shez

Hi, I had a similar situation some time ago and I got round it by right clicking the FS icon and select run as administrator. Problem went away. richard welsh

Had the same problem,corrected it the same way.When this problem exist you cannot download scenery etc. Tks Ger Canada

Add:remote=to all entries if absent.

I always wonder how exactly zombies get reanimated.... :(
