October 15, 201015 yr Last Sunday I got to sit in a new (and painted in the new post merger colors) 900ER at United's Family Day at SFO. That was one beautiful clean/new airplane, even had that new plane "smell".;) What I'm wondering is if there will be an option in the PMDG VC to have a factory delivered clean version? I suspect it would just involve outputting a set of textures with a couple of layers turned off in Photoshop. If not, will we be able to easily edit the cockpit textures? Here's the basically the pit I'm talking about:www.airliners.net/photo/Continental-Airlines/Boeing-737-924-ER/1575450/L/&sid=86c48127abcf325fa3acc055ccde67d9Scott

October 16, 201015 yr Maybe one day we'll get it as update or something like that, but in my personal opinion, so "sterile" textures will look a little like... default aircraft But the idea of few texture sets is cool, I like it in J41 that I can change it's look from time to time.
October 16, 201015 yr Funny, he actually changed every single word of his post after my reply. I guess I'll either make sure peoples responce time is locked before replying or start quoting everyone since lately everyone seems to be changing what they say when they don't like the responce. For the record, originally he asked a quick one line of "Will there be an option for a clean VC?" or something very close to that.Glad you took the time to change your post, now take the time to sign your full name... i9 10920x @ 4.8 ~ MSI Creator x299 ~ 256 Gb 3600 G.Skill Trident Z Royal ~ EVGA RTX 3090ti ~ Sim drive = M.2 2-TB ~ OS drive = M.2 is 512-gb ~ 5 other Samsung Pro/Evo mix SSD's ~ EVGA 1600w ~ Win 10 Pro Dan Prunier

I haven't changed my original post at all. You sound a little paranoid. BTW, are you a mod or something? You sure come off like it.James Tiberius KirkI've found that most aircraft repaints are far dirtier than their real world counterparts :)Indeed. Sometimes artists go a little too far in their quest towards "realism".

October 17, 201015 yr Commercial Member The dirt in the NGX textures isn't just some layer we can turn off guys. We didn't add it after the fact, that's actually what the real cockpit looked like when we photographed it, it's an integral part of the texture. We don't need PMDG police, and when we do, Ryan will set issues straight. You're not setting a friendly tone, or setting any good examples. Blake Williams
