October 20, 201015 yr I say GEX. :( Though UTX is a must-have to get any sense of geographic accuracy our of FSX; GEX will give you instant top-shelf eye candy across North America. Everything will look much, much better. GEX will make your flights more fun right away.If you want fun - get GEX first. If you want accuracy - get UTX first. But in the end you will get them both. And do not under any circumstances forget to get FS Genesis mesh. It is affordable, essential, and great!Another option is, if you are willing to have a more limited flight area, get the Orbx Pacific North West scenery. You get The Big Enchilada of accuracy and eye candy in one happy package. Nothing else needded. It is simply the finest scenery package you can buy for FSX. I do 90%+ of my flying in that one area now.Check out the link: http://fullterrain.com/product_nablue.html ___________________________I'm just flying for the fun of it.
October 20, 201015 yr I agree with the previous poster. If you can only get one at a time I would agree that GEX would be the way to go. Jim Wenham
