October 26, 201015 yr I am just getting around to networking my two PC's and the primary machine that will act as the Server as well as the Client machine already have FSX + Acceleration installed. Can I go ahead and install the Original SDK from my FSX Deluxe Disc 1 and then install the SDK SP1A? I have WideFS up and running and it is working with Flight Sim Commander but I am also trying to get Active Sky Evolution as well as Squakbox4 off my Server and onto the client machine and acording to the documentaion it looks like I need to install the SDK and configure the machines as per the instructions in order to network my weather and ATC via simconnect. Thanks in advance,Robert RE Thomason Jr.

(SP1A from disk - not downloaded SP1A; it's not the same)period.if you install any other SDK update, it will ask you to uninstall other updates.Loyd Hooked since FS4... now flying: FSX Acceleration on Win7/64, Core Duo E8400; GA-EP45-DS3R; GTX 460-768MB; 4G RAM; Freezer 7 Pro

October 26, 201015 yr Author Corrected link -FSDeveloper - Wiki - SDK Installation (FSX) Thanks that link was quite helpful, I suppose I should have posted in the SimConnect Forum...just didn't think about it at the time. Thanks for your assistance. RE Thomason Jr.
October 26, 201015 yr Hi All,I have answered Robert in another place, but for the readership, when setting up a networked configuration the SDKs get installed on the CLIENT computer, not the computer with FSX already installed. This is done so that all the SimConnect files get installed on the client computer which can lead to programs on the client communicating with FSX on the server. Yes, you need to also do a bit more than just installing the SDKs as well.

October 27, 201015 yr If you have acceleration installed on the client, then you should have accel version of simconnect already installed on the client, so the issue would be setting the config files properly I think so simconnect on the client links to simconnect on the server.scott s..
October 27, 201015 yr Hi Scott,But wouldn't the Acceleration installer look for FSX to be installed already? And on a client computer this is never a good thing to have FSX installed.
