November 14, 201015 yr There are bigger things to worry about than a graphics glitch where COD Black Ops is concerned though, namely, that it is an awful game. For example...Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
November 15, 201015 yr Thank god FSX isn't that buggy, geez. That makes FSX look like a piece of perfectly coded software. Jon E.
November 15, 201015 yr Actually, that sort of thing I showed in the screenie is not what makes COD Black Ops a bad game (although that is nonetheless sloppy work). It's the fact that it is barely even a game and actually more like an interactive movie, where you can make a few choices. To be fair, it's very good in that sense; looks great, has a cracking storyline (albeit a bit of a portmanteau of lots of good movies), and the voice acting and motion capture is second to none. But as a game it is completely on rails, with barely any freedom to do anything much beyond 'hang on for the ride' and mash a fire button, so as a game, it is about as tactical and engaging as Frogger.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

CoD is very good at cinematic feel, however as you said, it's more of an interactive movie than a game. Personally I have even heard some reports that even some of the CoD fans were dissappointed with it. It sounds like they did well with the cinematic aspect, but the gameplay really isn't there. I can't confirm that for myself however, as I haven't played it.
