October 17, 200322 yr It's got a high end price tag too :-lol Might be a help if the website was in English as well - Ich bin ein Englander und nein sprechen sie Deutsch.Looks to me as though it's all daytime stuff and no nightime textures? Also, I wonder if the Suisse 2004 airfields by Daniel would work with it.There again, $150 - I don't think so.David
October 17, 200322 yr Was, Sie sprechen kein Deutsch???!!! Shame on you!! :-lolYou don't miss much information, if you are not able to understand german. I gues the most important things you have figured out:- resolution 4,8 m
October 17, 200322 yr compared to megascenery it's a bargain. Think about it: it's a whole country!! LOLI'll buy it if there are seasonal textures.Gr
October 17, 200322 yr With available mesh and Daniel and Andreas's existing add-ons, Switzerland is good enough for me. And I fly there a lot. These VFR overlays are all very well but 1. they're expensive 2. they always look a bit weird to me, as the colours are so different from default 3. the seasonality thing is restrictive and 4. they usually take so long to load you might as well go to the pub. FS9 is so wonderful in terms of seasonal and day/dusk/night/dawn lighting effects that it seems daft to suppress it.If it's your home town that's featured, well, there's a reason to buy, I guess. Just wish I DID have a chalet in St. Moritz ...Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
October 17, 200322 yr Geez...just think how big Switzerland would really be if you could flatten it out...:-)Sherm

But on the other hand it looks like it is seamless and well matched to the mesh. I wonder how well the coastline looks as regards to the hardcoded problems, same as for the river flattens, also no mention of autogen as well as the missing nightmaps etc.Guess if you live there though...

October 18, 200322 yr Commercial Member Well, the difference is not as big as one might think. The SoCal MegaScenery covers 125nm x 110nm, or 14,000 square miles (http://www.megascenery.com/products.htm). The area of Switzerland is about 16,000 square miles.More comparison info in this thread: http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/dcforum/DC...D21/7954.html#9Cheers, Holger

October 18, 200322 yr Lets put this back into perspective and get the facts right. The kiwis won the America's Cup again (for the third time). It is just that they used a Swiss boat! Hahaha
