Did ORBX 'bump' FSX up to vXII?

Featured Replies

Well, I've finally joined the club. I bought Pacific Fjords last night, fired up the old Islander and set off from Bella Coola to check out the view. All I can say is it's absolutely outstanding. Smooth and pin sharp on my system. One thing I particularly love is the appearance of the bare rock formations..Anyway, well done to the developers and testers. IanPs. Happy New Year to everyone :(

Wow ... nice sentiments everyone, makes the team feel proud!
-----------------------------------------------------------The ORBX cumulative team results delivered to my hard drive made it easy to compose the post. You and the ORBX team; ALL OF THEM; have made my computer flight experience for flying over terrain, landmarks, and airports,.... and all within a so-easy-to-believe-I-am-truly-there, bubble,... a 200 percent flight and personal satisfaction experience.I also mention the GREAT airframes from different developers that are in my hangar. This along with REX2 Overdrive, EZdock camera, EMBseries v075, and others, makes me spend hours in simulated flight.I had considered getting my PPL at this time, but as a result of my actually FEELING that I am now in the real-world of flight every time I fly over your PNW 'triple pack', I will delay this until the last year before I retire. This is how good you have made FSX look! FS12 is how I PERSONALLY tag FS(*) now. In fact, unless you are truly behind the scenes with M.S. and their 'Flight'....I will be bummed out TOTALLY, to possibly find that Flight might be delivered with first generation FSX topography and textures. I cross my fingers that they (those behind Flight) are SMART ENOUGH to view this forum and figure it out for themselves on what level of immersion simmers want these days. For the most part, we are a sophisticated-flight-palate. They would be smart to recognise that........Happy New Year to all the wonderful Developers for land, sky, and airframe that has made me so, so satisfied! All the continuing financial best to you all! Have a great 2011 and thereafter!Mitch

By January 2, 2011, I'll be sure to get the much spoken ORBX AU and the ORBX PNW scenery, since I'm getting Ant Lynch's scenery for them already, and am already longing for just one VFR tour of the Northwest with sceneries as detailed as the PNW scenery would do. Thanks to you guys, my interest in FSX has never been better since I first flew it back in 2006! Dave.

Thanks Graham, much appreciated!
