OK, I have done a comparison of screenshot 1 and will do 2 next, but I honestly no clue on the locations of shots 2 and 3. :(
Number 3 is the old training tower on Ford Island, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Thanks! I just completed comparisons of #3 and #4. Now I just need to find the location of #2. All I know that it was taken somewhere in the universe. :(

Now do a comparison between flight & FSX + REX 2.0.The water in Flight is the biggest change

Seeing nothing can be added to Flight right now, can we agree to compare Flight to FSX out of the box? We know what FSX looks like once certain add-ons get thrown into the mix.

In the first comparison shots, my FSX was out of the box...with no scenery enhancements/environment add-ons. ;)

Great work Brandon! There's no denying the huge improvemnts over FSX. Let's hope they work on the geography outside of Hawaii as well.

Simmerhead - Making the virtual skies unsafe since 1987!

Can we look at Hughes' Jan 28 set, comparison #1.So how do we go from FSX having 100 houses in that location to Flight having it listed as a farm town?Almost every shot I have seen so far that has buildings in FSX has nothing in Flight. Also look at screenshot comparison #5 on page 1. Looks like a nice liitle town in FSX, yet everyone sold the land to farmers in Flight. One of the things I liked seeing were the houses, gave me a sense of speed as I passed by. Could MS be cutting them to save on frames? Or did they just mess up the land class in FSX?

Screenshot 1N22° 13.42'W159° 23.94'Altitude +1644Heading 244(MS flipped #1 horizontally for whatever reason...)Screenshot 2N22° 6.73'W159° 40.11'Altitude +5768Heading 162(t#2 is a rough estimate. I forgot to save the flight afterwards, and for the screenshot that was the hardest to get! :()

It's just because Flight is more accurate than FSX. FSX has the buildings in the wrong place. This is caused by the low resolution of the landclass grid which make accurate placements of small towns and cities impossible.

really impressing. but i hope they will fix that the rivers getting so huge in the far and a nice winter season with white snowflakes falling down and not this ugly gray rain from fsx.

Great job with the comparisons!I hope that the Flight team sorts out the glowing rivers on the mountains.

Looking at Screenshot 1 for both simulators and then looking at Google Maps, it is readily apparent that both FSX and Flight have a problem with housing density! FSX has too much and Flight has way too little (as in none). I would say that in balance, FSX looks much closer to the real world in terms of autogen density in this area. I would suggest though that this is because Microsoft Flight has not had autogen implemented yet.Regards, Mike Mann

Are the trees not autogen?
