I highly doubt we will get the entire world in DTGs new sim. They will sell you the U.S. 1 state at a time.

Hey all, I fly P3D and xplane 10 and was curious if there is a add-on that tracks certain things automatically for me. I would like it to track, taxi times, air times, taxi fuel, inflight fuel, leanings speeds and aircraft type. The base logbooks don't do such a thing so is there a good pay ware add-on for these things? Thanks, Marc

I'm building a 32gb RAM computer for the DSF textures this Christmas so I hope 10.40 is out by them. I also hope the 980ti is out, I really don't want to spend $1,000 on the Titan X!!!

Well FSX is abandoned so people will continue to move to P3D. With PMDG moving to P3D and Xplane, the last rock for FSX has fallen.

Hey all, I posted asking about Xplane also but wanted to post in the P3D forum since I will run both games at 1920X1200. My question is, will P3D v2.4 run at a resolution of 1920X1200? If so, do I have to edit the config file or is there a option in the menu settings for 1920X1200. Thanks, Marc

Hey all, About to buy a new monitor for my new rig. (4790K/GTX980/16GBram) I would like to know if xplane 10 has a option to run the simulator at a resolution of 1920X1200. Is there a option in the menu for 1200 or do I have to edit the config somehow? Also, if anyone runs 1200, how are the letters, are the numbers and letters on the gauges streched and unreadable? Can I fly without voice on vatsim/ivao? Some people are deaf and need the text based format that MS gives.I remember years ago we had the option to interact VIA text on vatsim, is it still that way today?

Can we look at Hughes' Jan 28 set, comparison #1.So how do we go from FSX having 100 houses in that location to Flight having it listed as a farm town?Almost every shot I have seen so far that has buildings in FSX has nothing in Flight.Also look at screenshot comparison #5 on page 1. Looks like a nice liitle town in FSX, yet everyone sold the land to farmers in Flight. One of the things I liked seeing were the houses, gave me a sense of speed as I passed by. Could MS be cutting them to save on frames? Or did they just mess up the land class in FSX?

Hey all,The January set looks real nice since I dont buy many add-on products. So for me Flight > FSX.My gut is telling me they want to drive most of us online to fly. Thats not a bad thing but I'd still like some me time.Has anyone heard if there will still be AI aircraft for offline flying?Also, I hope they don't remove the jetways. Those were one of the biggest improvments made in the last edition. Sitting at the gate in my 737 I felt like I was at a real airport and boarding passangers.One last thing, any news if they plan to keep moving cars on the highways? It would be nice if they included VATSIM into the online service. This way new pilots could learn a TON about flying IFR from VATSIMs resources and staff.MarcUAL
